Staying at the Crowne Plaza Metro in West Loop means that Greek restaurants are right across the street. Fabulous for a Greek-food-loving family. It was a very cold night so the warm, relaxed atmosphere was appreciated. Excellent service and choice of wines and beers. Even the lemonade was great. The lamb was tasty and succulent as only the Greeks can... More

I hadn't eaten at Santorini for two or three years. The restaurant used to be the fine dining spot in Chicago's Greek Town. Not anymore. The food is now mediocre and uninspired. It has lost its ambiance, and now has the feel of a Greek breakfast diner. The bathrooms were disgusting, with urine on the floor and plumbing fixtures held... More

Most of the restaurants in GreekTown are terrific. Santorini sets a wonderful standard for a "classy" place. We were there on Friday for dinner and split a very large grilled whole red snapper. It was perfectly done. The accompanying rice dish was done very well. Taramosalata, one of our favorite appetizers, was almost buttery. Our waiter was very familiar with... More

A friend recommended Santorini to us.....and it did not disappoint! The grilled octopus appetizer was different and amazing. The menu was extensive and varied. I landed on the lamb and artichokes served with a lemon sauce.....two thumbs up. The waiter recommended a white Greek wine that was good. Service was outstanding. A fun night!!

I live in Chicago, enjoy Greek food, and come here with my family a few times a year. On our last visit we met some friends who had never been and we all had a great time. There is a good selection of both domestic and Greek wines. There are many, many choices on the menu and you are bound... More

This place was recommended by our Uber driver. The food was good (not great). The ambiance was quite nice, We ordered the Greek salad (good), this garlicky mashed potato like appetizer and the moussaka. All were good, not great. Prices were reasonable. The crowd looked to be a mix of regulars and out-of-towners of all ages.

There's lot better Greek in Greektown than this place. The food is not fresh, not well prepared. Hey, they are busy enough, so I guess that they don't care much. Won't be back.

Stopped in for lunch in a frigid Chicago winter day. The fireplace was welcoming, the wait staff was attentive and friendly and the food was very good. The blue and white decor looks like you would imagine for Greek isle location. Upon sitting down we were served warm and crusty bread which had great texture and flavor. We ordered the... More

I have been telling people about this restaurant since they first squeezed my husband and I in for a quite dinner nearly a year ago. Recently a friend went to trip advisor to verify my review, so here I am making sure everyone knows just how incredible Santorini is. I had been to Greek town in Chicago on my last... More
