The NYC version was delightful so we thought we would try the Chicago place. There is a big difference. This Chicago Restaurant is VERY dark, so much so that I nearly fell on the stairs - there is NO lighting. You need to use your...More

This is definitely not a Chicago steakhouse but the service and food are excellent. This is a French interpretation of Vietnamese food. The chicken curry, duck and sea bass were so good. Share your plates so you can try multiple dishes. Save room for dessert...More

Walked in without a reservation and they quickly seated us. A larger table then walked in so they asked us to move tables. For this trouble we got free appetisers. Food was tasty, and wine was delicious.

Our friends had never been here before and they loved it. Wonderful waiter, friendly, patient and someone who was able to advise on the menu. Fun cocktails and great apps. Entrees were also a hit; trout, chicken, pork and duck, all good. Vietnamese coffee and...More

Le Colonial serves the real Vietnamese food without the new wave of Asian fusions. The menu has a great selection of appetizers and mains to please everyone. What is relevant is that they deliver on great flavors with very good quality. Always recommended.

Probably. Yes. But in my view the restaurant is so underwhelming in all areas that I'd find a better way to spend my time and money
