Three of our four diners chose a combination of appetizers as their dinner. They were outstanding, especially the fried chicken bites and the duck pate. Service was great, and general manager Dennis Friedland was particularly attentive. A fun evening!

My trip to Chicago isn’t complete without a visit to Yoshi’s Cafe. As usual, the service is superb and food is even better. Had three mushroom soup and Wagyu burger. Just amazing.

One of the best overall consistent, best value, best tasting, and best service upscale (not fine) dining option in the East Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago. Simple nouvelle French-Japanese fusion comfort food! Never misses to please.

Came here for Sunday dinner after moving a relative into the area. Quite a treat. All dishes were wonderful. Great menu. Looking forward to a return visit.

Menus do change periodically, but most offerings are what you would expect (omelets, waffles, pancakes, etc) for breakfast.

Agree with the other responses. A bit more casual in the warm weather, but certainly necessary jackets, ties or fancy clothes.
