Italian Village offers the diner a choice of three different restaurants in one convenient location. We dined in the lower level, quaint seating, fine wait staff and delicious food. I ordered the beef filet medallions with a wonderful wine mushroom sauce. Fabulous! Can't wait to return on my next visit to the Windy City. A friend ended the meal with... More

Been to Italy many many times up to last October and the food is simple but delicious. Not overdone and drowned in cream. We won't be going there for our business team dinner.

Second time coming here on my second trip to Chicago. This place has a great atmosphere and great staff. You always start with fresh bread. Then on this trip I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. Then we finished with tiramisu. All in all we love this place and I now compare all Italian food to the Italian Village.

Italian Village bills itself as the oldest Italian Restaurant in Chicago. So, walk in expecting lots of history, lots of tradition, lots of excellence. Expect all of that and you won't be disappointed. Walked in 2 hours before seeing Hamilton, only 1/4 full. Hostess gave us a private booth table. Female server had a strong Italian accent, was very polite,... More

Went to Italian Village prior to watching Hamilton. Server was very helpful, courteous and prompt. She had several excellent suggestions. We had valentine specials - lobster stuffed filet and lobster stuffed manicotti were both excellent. Atmosphere and attention to customers is always excellent here. Will return, confirmed my prior experiences.

This is a beautiful 3 floor Italian restaurant. Every floor offers a different menu but all specialize in Italian cuisine. The atmosphere on the second floor where we ate was very family oriented warm and cozy. The food was amazing - the lasagna were incredible and so was the manicotti! Their dessert is also scrumptious -we had the chocolate mouse!... More

I was hoping to have a great meal before going to the theatre and I was not impressed. We had one person arrive late and the waiter was very helpful to get his order in quickly.

We visited the restaurant on a Sat nught adter being at a show. It is very close to the PeaceBank Theatre and Hampton Majestic hotel also on Monroe. The staff was outgoing and quick, very professional yet charming. There are 3 levels for dining. We ate on the top level, wait time was less than 10 minutes for a table.... More

One of the two downtown, historic landmark restaurants. The other is the Berghof. Well worth a visit while in Downtown Chicago. Actually three restaurants, each with their own character. Ate upstairs, late at night, but still very alert, prompt, courteous service. Plenty of wait staff. Obviously a popular late-night location, as they had live music and a lively crowd enjoying...
