I've been going to this place for years. Go to the bar on the main level and ask for Robert. He's a fantastic bartender and he's a Chicago sports encyclopedia. He's great to sit and talk to. While you're there order the lobster gnocchi. I get it as an appetizer or as my meal with a salad somethings. It's fantastic.

This place has multiple dining options. I chose the upstairs restaurant and the décor and murals turned the dining room into Italy. I ordered risotto and mushrooms and added additional veggies for a delightful meal. Waitstaff was courteous and prompt with service.

A cosy restaurant with decent service. The restaurant offers few vegetarian and vegan alternatives. I eventually ordered pasta arabiata - the pasta was overcooked and the sauce only OK. Huge portions do not justify charging 15 dollars + tax & tips for this...

This is the sort of restaurant hotel concierges recommend to conventioneers. The downtown location in the loop is convenient to most hotels, the décor is over the top (and on the ground floor nightmarish), the staff is welcoming, but the food is a real disappointment. The bronzino I had as a main course was definitely not something I would ever... More

The food is very good, and the location (within a block of the Bank of America Theater) is excellent. Valet parking is a deal especially if you're going to a show - $12 covers it. The atmosphere is lovely and the wait staff is very attentive!

We had a large family dinner here and we were very pleased. Good service and good food. Nice fresh pasta and the eggplant Parmesan was perfect.

IV has a lovely European aura, sans the sidewalk seating. Our waiter was attentive and pleasant but he (three times) discouraged me from having what I wanted by telling me the kitchen was too busy trying to get out orders for the theater patrons, effectively telling me I could not have what I wanted. He told me to order a... More

Food was good, but nothing special. Although I appreciate the service, they were able to find a table for 8 people almost immediately and there were always nice waiter taking care of us. Nice wine too and prices are affordable.

We chose this place for its proximatey to to theatres and the hotel. I had the signature chicken alfredo it tasted great but was too big for one person. My wife had the lasagne she liked it, but it could have been hotter. I would recommend this place again, although i would say the $$ rating was to low.

Thank Dave G
