Wonderful food and atmosphere at Italian Village. We chose to dine at The Village on the third floor for traditional Italian fare. Some of the best Italian we've ever had. Very attentive wait staff.

European flavor in food as it isn't tasting boldly, but mildly. I'm talking about the shrimp dish that I ordered. Forgot the name by it also had mushrooms and white wine in it. Very very wet though.. A little bit too wet for my taste. (And no I'm sure it wasn't soup!) desert was a bowl of tiramisu. Is great... More

While attending a meeting in Chicago, we had a delightful dinner at Italian Village. The place is somewhat different, being composed by three different restaurants within one location, so it took me a while to find my party that was already seated. We had a great waiter who was very accommodating. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and the... More

Had a wonderful dinner in the oldest Italian restaurant in Chicago. That legacy says it all. Food was fabulous as was the service.

Food and atmosphere is great at this Chicago institution. We chose The Village for traditional Italian food and were very pleased. I ordered a $125 bottle of wine and when the check came they charged me for the $190 reserve rather than the $125 vintage. Mistake on my part not giving him the number of the wine selection, mistake on... More

I took my family here because of proximity to hampton inn that i booked and plenty of positive reviews on tripadvisor. We ordered a pizza for a child and it was tasteless and hard. I ordered a sausage parmesan sandwich which came with very greasy saratoga chips, and it was just ok taste-wise. My wife had chicken parmesan, and she... More

My BF took me to Chicago, to surprise me for NYE. We had dinner at La Cantina. I love shrimp so I simply asked our waiter to surprise me! My dinner was delicious! The service was excellent. Hands down a great experience!

Really excellent delicious Italian food. Service was extremely attentive yet not obtrusive. Beautiful restaurant. We had an excellent lunch and it has become one of my favorite places to go for a meal in Chicago.
