We found this restaurant driving by back to the hotel, and decided to stop and try it. It was Sunday night and the restaurant was empty. But the food was delicious. Very honest, delicious local food. No disappointment.

I wrestled a little bit with this review due to an issue with our order. Also, I had to review this restaurant relative to its category not against downtown Steakhouses. This is a neighborhood Steakhouse in Lakeview not Gibson's, Ruth Chris, Morton's, Chicago Cut and...More
Select a is small and quiet place for dinner. The menu has something for everyone whether you t is steak, fish or poultry. The food was excellent I tried the steak, mushrooms and a baked potato. The food was prepared perfectly! Everyone in my family...More

The food was very good, steak was tender, and breaded jumbo shrimp were a very nice size. The restaurant itself could use a little updating. The atmosphere was ok, but I feel with some updating it would match the quality of the food.
This restaurant is very nice to have a date night! The lighting and setting is low key and the food is amazing! I highly recommend saving room for dessert if you go here!
