If you are looking for Chicago Style dogs while visiting then this place is a must. The staff were friendly and the store was clean. Parking is tight but not a problem. I had the #2A which included two dogs, fries, and a soda. Best lunch I had for under $7 in a long time. Food is cooked fresh and... More

I just moved into the area a few months ago and people were telling me about this place, so of course I had to try it. I've been here three times and each time has been different. The first time I got a burger with fries special. The burger was nothing to brag about, but the fries were delicious. They... More

The most unfriendly service I've had in Chicago and mediocre food, at best. I will never be back and will encourage everyone I know to not eat there. Just miserable.

Wolfy's, in my opinion, has THE BEST Chicago style hot dogs hands down. From the steamed poppy seed bun to the Kosher all beef frank you can't beat it. I went to high school right across the street from Wolfy's and the hot dogs were as delicious this time around enjoying them with my children as when I used to... More

Is there anything more appropriate for Americans to eat on a Memorial Day or July Fourth or Labor Day weekend than a hot dog? Or a hot dog from Wolfy's at 2734 West Peterson near California in Chicago's West Rogers Park neighborhood? Drive down Peterson Avenue and you can't miss it, the Paul Bunyan-size hot dog speared on a 35-foot-tall... More

The adults ordered Chicago dogs with the works. My kids ordered hot dogs with ketchup. The hot dogs cost $2.69, no matter which toppings you ordered. We also tried 3 flavors of shakes, which everyone loved. The decor was very homey and felt like a mom-and-pop restaurant. Chicago has tons of chain restaurants, so Wolfy's was a pleasant, local alternative.
