Cannot say the food is bad but just not worth the hype and the trouble to get a table. Definitely not worth the price for sure. The dishes can be less salty.

This place is incredible. Fine dining in Chicago is different that fine dining in Paris or Rome, it is less pretentious and way more fun. I love Chicago, everything about it, and combined with this amazing service and great food it is just perfect. This...More
We were charged about $700 for two people with taxes and 20% service charge. This amount is too little if you are in the 1% and too much if you are in the 99%, aspiring for a taste of the life of 1%. Upon arrival,...More

Alinea is not just an exquisite meal. It is an epic evening full of surprises, deliciousness, and gracious hospitality, like the Disney World of haute dining. As a solo diner and a vegetarian, I was worried about being accommodated or bored during an hours long...More
This was a real show !!! The taste of the food and the food art was three star plus. Pricing was equal to the product. A once in a lifetime experience.
