Be aware that this place is super loud. I assume that our server was superb and knowledgeable, but I don't know because I could not hear a word she said. Menu was not particularly inspiring. We had the very pricey tasting menu because no single menu item stood out. Food was good, not great, compared with other high end tasting... More

The food (gnocchi starter, duck entree, chocolate shortbread dessert) was perfect in every way. But what BLEW ME AWAY was our beautiful and gracious server, Tangie. I worked my way thru college "waitressing" in coffee shops because "dinner houses" wouldn't hire women, let alone women of color. Dear Goddess, thank you that barrier's been broken --and a one-star Michelin restaurant... More

Cavatelli and swordfish were the best dishes of the table. All other dishes - beef shank, rabbit, duck breast and bass - were good too. Service was attentive and friendly. Only downfall was we had an 11th person and only table for 10. The extra was not allowed when reservation was confirmed so didn't push the issue the night of... More

great flavors, one of the best octopus dishes and ora salmon, very pleasant atmosphere and service. Diner for two with drinks, wine, appetizers, entries and desert around $200 and just few block away from the Lyric Opera House.

Contemporary decor. Spacious and convivial. Excellent food and wine list. You have a choice of a tasting menu or a regular menu. Reasonable prices.

The food was good but a very small portion which was overrated for me. The waiter was very nice and welcoming though.

We had the 5 course tasting menu. Maybe a little overpriced (you could save quite a bit ordering from the menu), but not outrageous. All courses were incredible.

Servers had a difficult time handling group of 11. There was an hour delay between the appetizer and entree and they were unable to serve all of the entrees at the same time. My swordfish was cold when it arrived. The two entrees I tasted were lacking in seasoning. At the end of the night, the server refused to split... More

Visited twice on a business trip. Fantastic food, beautifully prepared and presented. Lovely ambiance. Well-edited menu. Attentive service. So why not five out of five? A few nits: portions are generally small, both at lunch and dinner. Nice choices of wine by the glass, but most are a bit overpriced. Bar stools are ridiculously uncomfortable - hard metal flat seat... More

The food was uniformly perfect. I mean that- perfect . But the service was really not good. The gap between courses was horrible. Coupled with the close proximity of the two tops on either side of us ( think NYC seating)- I strongly suggest that you sit in the bar. Better service and more space. The wine list is startlingly...
