I have been going to PR Italian Bistro (formerly Pizza Rustica) for years. They have always served more than pizza (they do have great pizza) but they have really stepped up the non-pizza menu and it is great. I had a pheasant pasta last night which was creative and delicious. They still have a friendly family and neighborhood vibe but... More

While I'm just down the road from this establishment, I have to limit my visits to PR Italian Bistro or else I'd be eating my weight in pizza every week. I have yet to have a bad meal here, although I will admit, I tend to always order a pizza. Having brought friends and dates here, it's a fantastic place... More

I surprisingly ended up here with a couple of friends for a casual dinner, great place with great ambiance and friendly servers. The pizzas were great and the Pasta Amatriciana was very good in flavor but the pasta a bit overcooked and not al dente. Great place to go to, since there is not much around. Would definitely return.

I was meeting a former colleague here who was delayed but enjoyed people watching and the great happy hour at the bar with $5 wine selections and some good value menu items. We enjoyed a nice meat and cheese plate and more good wine. You could tell there is a regular crowd and the friendly staff makes it a place... More

Highly recommend this Italian Bistro on Sheridan near Irving Park Road. Ambience is super. Will have to go back in the summer when they can open the front to the outside. Wait staff was very professional and friendly. Nice wine selection. We had the goat cheese appetizer with frosting which was very nice. For entrée my niece and I both... More

Had a great dinner last Sunday night. The restaurant was very busy because of an event nearby, but service was still very good. The food was excellent and tastes were outstanding. The staff from the wonderful host station to the bussers were extremely efficient. Our server was very friendly and personable. Would definitely return because of the food and service.... More

When we visit our daughter in Chicago, Rustica's is always on our list to eat. Their pizza is absolutely the best! They have a very nice outside eating area, which is fun to sit at and watch people walk by. Waiters/Waitresses have always been very friendly, very efficient and make it a very enjoyable experience. The inside is also beautiful... More

Super friendly service, great beer selection and welcoming regulars. We feel at home here. Loved the pizza and the rotating chalkboard specials. Last night we enjoyed an interesting and delicious take on gumbo. It is not fine dining, just good creative food priced well.

There are a ton of Italian restaurants in the Lakeview area, but this one is hands down our favorite in the neighborhood. We only order off the blackboard menu - we learned this the first time we went there. This is where the chef is experimenting and really trying to create something special! Our first experience there was when the... More

Staying in Wrigleyville

Neighbourhood Profile
Wrigleyville
This energetic sub-neighborhood, part of the larger Lakeview neighborhood, has a split personality. In the daytime you can stroll along its streets and enjoy a quiet meal, shop for gifts, walk along the row homes or sit peacefully in Graceland Cemetery. After dark, the neighborhood springs to life. Go bar-hopping along Addison and Sheffield Avenue or join the crowd at the historic Wrigley Field for live music. If there’s a Chicago Cubs baseball game in town, be prepared. Cubs fans can get a little rowdy and may prove to be a bit overwhelming if you're not expecting it.
