We had great food! Generous portions and hot when served. Pulled pork nachos were delicious and catfish tenders were very fresh. Great little man made grotto by the restaurant as well. Great outdoor seating.

We had a friend with us who new the place. Place funky and remind me a bit of a mess hall with a loft of stuffed animals for decorations. That said the service was friendly and the fried chicken very good. I would go again...More

Not many restaurants in the area to choose from so I would put this one in the average category. If you are interested in viewing mounted animal heads of all species while you dine then this is the place to go. Personally I did not...More

Having spent the afternoon at Giant City State park, I was in the mood for some Southern Illinois bbq. The Wild Boar did not disappoint. A half rack of tender, falling off the bone baby back ribs, Mac and cheese and rice and beans was...More

Unfortunately, according to their Facebook page, they are closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day! I had lunch there earlier today! When you visit, the Pulled Pork Nachos are a must!
