Kosher food can be delicious. Highly recommend the shwarma. Excellent. Falafel was good too. Humus like in Jerusalem.

If you have a desire for falafel or shawarma, this is your place. What makes Mizrahi stand out from other kosher restaurants is the pita, which they import from Israel, and taste so wonderful. The pita can be filled with a variety of different proteins or falafel, to which is added Israeli salad, tahina sauce, and a few french fries.... More

This place is great. Definitely going to go more often. I loved the Mom's pita. I wish there was more meat, but still so yummy.

We stopped in just after they opened for carry-out, the first time we hadn't eaten in. I ordered Shawarma in a pita pocket. My wife ordered Falafel in a luffa wrap (huge!). We paid and went home for an early lunch, only to find out that my Shawarma was in the luffa wrap and my wife's Falafel was in the... More

My family absolutely loves this place. The food is consistently terrific. We eat in or take out at least every other week. The shawarma, chicken, felafel and all the sides are delicious especially the cauliflower. The pita is the best. The soups are great too. They did a thanksgiving menu and we ordered our turkey from Mizrahi. It was moist... More

It was time for lunch out while doing errands, and we'd be near Mizrahi, so we returned instead of settling for Jimmy John's down the block. I had schwarma (meat shaved from a vertical cylinder) in a wheat pita, my wife had falafel in a wheat pita, loaded with veggies. The sandwiches are enormous - no need for side dishes.... More

My wife and I used to work in Manhattan and, whenever we were in the mood for a satisfying lunch built around a falafel sandwich, we'd visit one of the lunch trucks in the Diamond District (Moishe's was our favorite). Well, a place with a similar menu and vibe exists in a shopping mall in Highland Park and, after reading... More

We start with the salad combo which is your choice if 4 salads. We had the carrot salad, roasted eggplant, hummus and baba ganoush. All were delicious but the baba was out of this world!! I had a falafel pita with everything on it. Wow! It was hard to figure out how to attack the pita - it was huge... More
