GREAT Pub /bar located near the Amtrak station in Kewanee . They have expanded now to include a separate dining area and have a large meeting room as well . I still prefer to sit in the original Bar Room personally . The food is ABOVE PAR for bar food . GREAT Hamburgers /tenderloins and Chicken Strips ! Outside looks... More

This place has the most amazing food in town. We eat here quite regularly as everything is awesome. They are known for their tenderloins and the hamburgers are pretty great too. The history inside is something you won't want to miss. One of the longest bars you'll ever see.

We enjoyed a laid back Saturday afternoon here. We weren't in a hurry so that was helpful because service was a little slow. We enjoyed some pickle chips -a bit salty, but the pork BBQ sandwich was huge and tasty and Reuben sandwich was one of the best. The consensus about the veggie pizza was that for those of us... Went here with my colleagues because it was the #1 place to go eat. Not sure I agree with rating but the place had some history. Bar was built in the late 1800s by PBR. We went on a Saturday evening; so had a 30 minute wait. I had their walleye which was good. A friend raved about their cooked... More

We ordered our food online and picked it up. So convenient and the food was wonerful. My husband orders the Buffalo chicken sandwich everytime and raves how good it is, as if it's the first time he has had it.

We needed dinner and asked a local couple where to eat. They suggested here. My thoughts were that I didn't want to eat bar food for my dinner. We arrived and saw with pleasure the fabulous bar and decorations. We read about the history and ordered off the extensive menu. We had the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes. It... More

What a great place. So much history in this building with the bar made in the 1800's, tin roof, the architecture was just amazing. Food was awesome, and the service was great. Would definitely go back next time I am in the Kewanee area!

Stopped for lunch on a weekday. Nice microbrew selection on tap. The Reuben was maybe the best I've had w/ copious real corned beef, sauce on the side. The onion rings are a thing of art but a huge plate for one Staff friendly and prompt. Will be here again.
