The menu has a ton of options and the food was really good! My old complaints are that our server was a little odd/rude and it seemed like the flow of the salad bar was a little scattered. Will definitely be back!

The Ariston Cafe is a Rt. 66 destination that will take you back to those days in every way. The decor is right out of the 60's. The food is superb. The service is attentive. Dessert is brought to the table for you to view and choose. Who can resist. Don't miss the opportunity to stop. One of a kind.

This is a fantastic eatery along the old Route 66. Extremely friendly owners, magnificent food, stupendous service. The Prime Rib is out of this world!

Ariston Cafe is a "Go to Spot" along Route 66 traveling from Chicago to the Ozarks. They have very good food, friendly staff and historic atmosphere. We have been there at least 30 times and never been disappointed. A few weeks ago, we had the pleasure of being served by Kayla. She is working her way through school and is... More

I had eaten lunch at Aristion Cafe a number of times over the years so my travel mates welcomed my lunch venue recommendation. But only after they had fact-checked me on TripAdvisor. AC has an ample menu and the food is good. This is not gourmet food, but good basic food. A full salad bar is also available. Now the... More

Not just where the locals eat. This place has a retro atmosphere of bygone era days traveling down US Route 66. But not just retro, it really hasn't changed! The Food is outstanding! Great buffet when available. Fried chicken is excellent. Desserts are made on premises and worth the trip by themselves. Sign the guestbook if you are from out... More

This cafe gets good reviews, so we were happy to eat there. All I can figure is that the people who give it good reviews don't eat fresh food or cook at home. The food was mediocre at best. We had the "all you can eat chicken", which was really terrible. Salad bar is not great. Very friendly staff and... More

The sign said this is the oldest operating restaurant on RT 66. Had supper here. The waiter was VERY enthusiastic and the food was good.
