What a delicious meal we enjoyed at The Thatch Inn. The pub menu upstairs in the lounge is great with many meals to choose from. As others have said, the portion sizes are hearty and presentation and taste is excellent. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Well done!!

Upstairs dining room, spacious and comfy. Very friendly staff, only too happy to help. Menu offers a good, sensibly sized selection with something for everyone, including vegetarians. Service was prompt, with everything arriving together and piping hot. Portions are generous. Prices are very reasonable. As a big party, we were made very welcome and looked after very well. Looking around... More

Called in for a bit of Sunday lunch, after ordering we sat and listened to a couple of gentlemen discussing their family matters rather loudly, their accents were lovely but the 'F' word must have been used at least fifty times in five minutes and not once did the bar staff say anything to them. The dinner arrived and was ok... Had an evening meal. Personal preference meant the menu was not to my taste. Huge portions and had goujons and chips. Served promptly and tasty. One small criticism was not enough dip. Otherwise a good, cheap meal.

Had some free time and called in for a quick lunch. Very homely and food great. It was a cold day and the two fires in the lounge were so welcoming.. definitely recommend this either for a relaxing drink or lunch.

My husband & myself brought friends who were visiting from England here for a meal on Tuesday of this week & to say we were dissppointed is an understatement. We just had a light lunch of homemade broth, I don't think I've ever seen such a thin plate of soup in my life, the barley in my dish was non-existent.... More
