Decided to have thanksgiving dinner out this year, made reservations more than a month in advance for 6pm. When I called i was told that they were not busy after 6 pm, made me feel that we would not be rushed. Ditka's was offering a turkey dinner and you could also order off a select menu. We arrived early and... More

My son and I enjoyed the Berkshire Pork Chop and the superb Bloody Marys before heading down to Soldier Field to watch the Irish spank the All Blacks for the first and only time in 113 years of trying. MD's Bears have a special place in my sporting memory so I went well disposed and was not disappointed. Will go... More

Mike Ditka's has turned into a tradition. We love this place. We have not had a bad meal yet. Normally we stop in for brunch before the long drive home. The staff is very accommodating and personable. We've even had the pleasure of The Coach himself checking in on us to make sure our meal was satisfactory. It can't get... More

My husband and I went here for dinner just because we couldn't decide where to go. We've never been here before so the atmosphere of the restaurant was decent. It wasn't too noisy and the TVs weren't loud enough to hear the games which was fine with me anyways. We ended up ordering the pork nachos as an appetizer and... More

We've been here before and it was pretty good then but I don't think breakfast (or brunch) is their forte. There were just two of us and we both ordered breakfast type dishes. My husband had the biscuits & gravy and I had an egg dish. The place was about 70% occupied but very noisy. Our waitress seemed to be... More

Had dinner here with friends and LOVED the menu. Beet/goat cheese salad, tuna nachos, kale caeser, great seafood, amazing desserts. Loved the blueberry cheesecake and the flourless chocolate cake. The restaurant was packed and they have tv's for sports fans, although the restaurant was more upscale than your average sports bar. Can't wait to go back.

The sushi appetizer was worse than grocery store sushi and the pot roast appetizer had about 3 pieces of pot roast and a ton of cheddar cheese, diced tomatoes and canned jalapeños. Both fair. The kids mini cheese burgers were also "just okay" per my eight year old but the fried were very good. My daughter had the chicken and... More

Pot Roast nachos were tasty. I had the filet and crab cake combo. Crab cakes were very good, steak tasty but small portion. Everything is ala carte. Carrot cake dessert was big enough to share among 4 people. And, if you want bread, be sure to ask for it.

Ditka's is a very enjoyable place for a relaxing evening. Nice menu selections and very good service. Enjoyed our dinners and appreciated that it is a relatively quiet place to meat share conversations.

It's your typical Chicago chop house. Food and service are both very good. Prices. Are kind of high but again it's your typical chop house your paying for the quality. Nothing special just a nice place to get away and enjoy a couple cocktails and a good meal. Try Da pot roast nachos and pork chops.
