I was born and raised on a farm, but live in Chicago now. I still love small towns, but can live without the small town politics and bigotry. But I didn't sense this here. Just friendly owner and staff, old guys having coffee before heading...for a bar, families enjoying lunch. Basically, America living out it's dream and it's destiny. And the lunch is not just a bargain, it's a blessing. Root beer is a distinct flavor and pleasant (I was raised on A&W draft), and the pork tenderloin, slaw, and other sandwiches were perfect. At lunch, our server was stretched pretty thin, but she managed. I'd go back in a heartbeat.More
