We had a delicious lunch of Italian beef and a vegetarian panini with some homemade chips and steamed veggies. Service was fast, and Jackie was amazing! She was so helpful, kind and upbeat, and just a pleasure to have as a server. Tangerine and Oreo...More

Don't let the building (a former fast food place) fool you. Fontana has consistently good food, including Italian beef, fish, burgers, and the fries are awesome. Also excellent gelato.

Pasta was perfectly al dente. Service was great. Best gelato I've had outside of Florence, Italy. We will definitely go back.

This restaurant has a menu not like any restaurant in the area. The pasta dishes are very good. The paninis are tasty. You order at a counter but the food is brought to you which is different but works. I haven't tried everything yet but...More

Ok in a pinch, nothing special; feel like the pizza's are skimpy; roast beef sandwiches good. Atmosphere, so so. Noisy.

The menu selection is wonderful. Their gelato is out of this world. Every time we stop in I am never disappointed, between the food and friendly service. Our favorite is always their pizzas, truly authentic to what we had in Europe.

No, reservations are generally never needed. If you had a larger group they have a room that you can book that seats about 25. You order at a counter off of the menu and the specials board and then they will bring your food... More

Description
From gelato, to panini caprese, to sweet potato fries, to wine and more, the owners turned this old Hardees into a trendy, fun, but casual restaurant. Good quality food makes for an enjoyable meal in a nice atmosphere. Their phone number is 815-419-3011. Located about 1.5 miles east of Interstate 55 at Pontiac, exit 197. Worth the stop!
