Driving north from Missouri to Michigan. Stopped at this local restaurant for lunch. We had the tuna salad wrap and turkey and bacon club. Both were very good and the portions were more than we could eat. The sandwiches came with a cup of homemade soup. Also very good. Service was also good.

We went to Pontiac Family Kitchen, to meet our friends and to enjoy a Sunday dinner. The parking lot was full and so was the restaurant! I had the double chicken breast dinner, with baked potato, salad and butter pecan ice cream for dessert. My dinner size salad had crisp fresh green leaf lettuce, with tomato, cucumbers and very tasty... More

Good breakfasts; staff is friendly; owners go to each table checking on customers. Staff makes sure you are well taken care of with refills; is there anything else you need.

Great service...food was decent. Pretty much your average breakfast place. I'd come back for the service alone.

We were visiting Pontiac and decided to stop here for breakfast. I ordered the vegetarian skillet and my husband tried the corned beef hash skillet. The skillets come with a choice of pancake or toast. My husband's pancake was not edible. It was burned and the batter had something wrong with the consistency. He had one bite and then asked... Pontiac Family Kitchen is truly worth the side trip off of I-55. It also is worth a stop if you're traveling on old Route 66. This small restaurant with an extensive menu within which all family members will find something delightful to eat. The overall value of the food we ate in terms of quality and quantity was outstanding. This... More

Had dinner here last night. Service was prompt and polite meals are all priced moderately. Food very tasty. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a family on a budget and looking for a menu with a variety.

We saw this place listed on the food sign off the highway and since it showed 2 miles so we though we would try it. The place was very clean even bathrooms. We were greeted right away and our waitress seemed grumpy at first but she warmed up after she took our order. We no more ordered and the food... More

We go to the area frequently to visit family. Each time I have to eat at the Family Kitchen. The spinach and feta cheese omelet is wonderful and I usually have to take half home so I can get my Belgian waffle. I'm good for the whole day after that.
