I have been here many times and whatever I have ordered has been very good and service is always friendly. Menu with many choices - falafel, kefta kebab, steak, vegetarian.... Love the pickles and beets they put on the table to nosh on as you wait for your food. Not unusual to have families with small kids and/or large groups... More

As middle eastern food goes the taste was fairly average. The entrée I ordered was kefta kebab and it was spiced nicely and had a good taste. We tested the appetizer assortment and the taste was just ok. All the food was served hot and the service was good. There is nothing that I can say that makes this restaurant... More

Best middle eastern food anywhere in the neighborhood. Has to compete with another mideastern place that has better advertising, but this is the real deal! And it's Kosher!

atmosphere was a bit noisy and crowded. Food was pretty good but the service was so-so. Not much else to say

I can't imagine this restaurant needs another 5 star review. The place was packed on a Monday night but this didn't faze the kitchen. All our orders arrived promptly and cooked perfectly. Don't miss the Moroccan cigars for an appetizer, The chicken thigh kebobs were also wonderful.

Came here from out of town and seeing the chaos inside, did not know what to expect. So, forget the screaming kids and strollers and elderly grandparents. This is like a family gathering. Sit back and enjoy. Order the hummus platters or selection of appetizers, with pita and wipe some plates clean. Get some grilled chicken thighs with Israeli salad... More

We thought that we would try something really different, so we chose Taboun Grill. It is located on the northwest corner of Gross Point Rd. and Dempster St., so it can be just a bit of a challenge to get in to the parking lot, especially if the traffic is heavy. But once in the lot, there is plenty of... More

Happened to be in Skokie and had a taste for middle eastern food and we found this restaurant in a WTTW member book. It's in an outside strip mall. One big room inside but it didn't feel loud or uncomfortable at all. Great find! Two of us went and we both enjoyed it. Walked in and found that it was... More
