Oh yum. The veggie platter is to die for... eggplant, baby pumpkin, spinach and cauliflower. Who can make cauliflower interesting and sautéed spinach tastey. Start with the Mantoo beef appetizer to satisfy your meat craving. Settle in with the free soup and stuff your tummy in this delightful Skokie treasure.

We had just driven all the way from Galesburg to Skokie to buy a used car, but needed somewhere to eat afterwards. Found this place a few miles away and decided to try it. The food and atmosphere were wonderful!

Our dining experiance was a surprise. We went on a Saturday evening for dinner, the place was occupied with two other tables. We ordered our meal, 48 minuts later we ate The menu offer dishes with afgan names, our food was middle east and pakistan style. Price is cheap. Devon Ave serve the same dishes as Kabul House with quality... More

We googled and found this place. Food had no iranian flavor. The manue is a combination of iranian pakistan dishes, none of which were acceptable. Kabul is good for American customers not for us.

My son and I absolutely enjoyed our meal here. The pricing is very fair, the service excellent and the meals are prepared wonderfully. Everything tasted fresh, the spicing was outstanding and the atmosphere clean and neat. There is no bar however BYOB. I would highly recommend dining here.

One of our favorites is moving closer to us. Kabul moving from downtown Skokie to west Evanston on Dempster likely by the beginning of Dec 2016. Mantoo had wonderful flavor. Murgh was delightful, how do they keep the chicken so moist and tender? My wife loved the soup. And healthy as well...

If I have to review traditional food what we had for a dinner will be the high five, 5 stars. Whatever we ordered was delicious. Like a lot a "Kadu" as appertizer and Mahi as a main entree. As a table we shared "Boranee Banjan" and "Mantoo". Everybody enjoyed "Murgh". On "Desert menu" some items are missing like Afghan ice... More

We shared two appetizers, soup, and a main dish. Everything was fantastic. The service was good even though they were very busy. Will definitely go back. Total bill was $30 plus tip. So very economical for food this good. Really like the kadu appetizer. It's slightly sweet and would do just as well as a light dessert.
