They offer broasted chicken which I order and found it to be a good choice. Crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside. The staff is very friendly and treat you like you go there every day. The place fills up fast and unfortunately they do not take reservations. Go early. Take outs are available. Good beer on tap.

5 guys for lunch on a Saturday so we all ate and had many beers. The waitress was excellent. Food was very good for typical bar food

On the surface you'll expect this to be just another bar/restaurant serving the usual fare. Well, maybe it is. But the service is superb and the food is terrific. Usually not a one-two punch most similar establish have. In the past few weeks, we ate inside and outside on the patio. The wait staff was very attentive and be sure... More

pretty nice local pub. I cant say anything bad about it, just different.....a little slower pace, which is not bad sometimes. When they have live music, its usually good.

Unreal jerk. I refuse to go in this place anymore because if I bring a date he is always stalking her or hitting on her and I find that absolutely repulsive for a restaurant owner

Seeking to avoid the usual fast food fare, we stopped into Pete's Simonton Lake Tavern based on some TripAdvisor reviews and it's relative proximity to the highway. Fried Lake Perch was excellent, the fried Blue Gill not quite as great but still good. Fries were crispy, service was pretty quick. Definitely a locals type of place... informal tavern.

Although this tavern is not right on the lake, it's within 100 feet or so and has a patio from which you can see the lake. However, I visited after dark on a fall Monday and sat inside. I wasn't sure if I should seat myself so I walked to the bar (which was not occupied) where a woman saw... More

We found this with TripAdvisor and the reviews were right on. This is a place the locals hang out. Go in, find a seat and get ready for great pub grub. Don't expect high class dining, this is good home town dining with nice people enjoying their favorite watering hole. Service is good and friendly. We had a burger and... More

I recently visited on a Friday night for the first time. The place was packed. In spite of that the service was quick and the food was very good and made to order. I would not hesitate eating here again.
