Some of the best home cook food. The atmosphere was great. Service was good and the portions were very large. I would definitely go back!

I visited on a Saturday morning and the place was busy. At least three people told me "someone would be with me shortly" though I could see an empty table that I was eventually seated at. In general the service just seemed to be slow....More
After reading reviews on the CrossEyed Cricket, we were eager to try it on a recent weekend in Evansville. I was SO disappointed! I really expected the food to have some Southern flavor, but it just wasn't there! My husband ordered the fried chicken, which...More
I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! Been a long time patron to this restaurant, morning noon, or night you get great service that makes you feel at home, as well as plates of fresh cooked HOT food. Will always go here. Breakfast is fabulous.

We stopped here for lunch, primarily because it was crowded. It was a good idea. The turkey club was delicious with nice crisp bacon. The Philly cheese steak was also very good.
This place was delicious! The atmosphere was not that of fine dining, but the food was great. The menu was large with options for most everyone to choose from. Service was good and very attentive for how busy they were.
