My wife was born and raised in Evansville and we go back regularly for family visits. Gerst Haus is always on our list of restaurants to visit even though it's on the other side of town. The food and service have always been excellent and we have never been disappointed.
Stopped by the Gerst Haus for lunch today. The crowd was pretty good and the atmosphere was great. Sat at a table back by the kitchen and I really enjoyed getting to watch the guys and gals in the kitchen preparing so many delicious looking German dishes.
