Iaria's is not fancy but it served some of the best Italian food in Indy using old family recipes. We usually skip the appetizers, but the garlic cheese bread is delicious, especially when paired with the chunky marinara sauce. Our favorite entrees are egg plant parmigiana, chicken piccata, spinach ravioli and fettuccini alfredo. And no meal is complete without a... More

Iaria's was recommended by a friend. So happy we went. Fun, bustling atmosphere. Customers ranged from families with kids/babies to couples to large groups to seniors. Great, helpful staff. Food was delicious and plentiful. Will absolutely return. If you don't have a reservation, call and get on the wait list. One piece of advice -- beer and wine is served... More

After reading others reviews maybe we had a bad night with an entire wait staff off...but our experience was unfortunately disappointing. This place is renowned for many years of serving the Indianapolis market (they advertise open since 1933). It is even touted as one of the best places to dine in Indiana. We can remember coming here as a kid... More

Such a great Italian place in Indianapolis. Family owned since the beginning. Very simple in appearance but the food is always so good.

If you are looking for an old school Italian restaurant where the red sauce is KING....look no further. Iaria's is your place. The sauce goes on just about everything. It has great consistency, a little sweet with a small kick....delicious! The meatballs are baseball sized but moist and super tasty. The place has been there since the 30's but the... More

Opened and owned by same family since the 30's. Staff was all family. Very friendly and helpful. Not a trendy place, just the good old Italian-American dishes everyone remembers from childhood. Nice wine selection, ok for anywhere, especially for Indiana. Interesting building, bar/restaurant from the 30's complete with glass brick windows. Lots of free parking in its own lot. Only... More

We stopped in for lunch a little after 1:00 PM and the place was still buzzing. My wife had the Grouper Picatta and I had Chicken Marsala. Both were excellent. Our server Nicky is absolutely fantastic. She know the menu and suggested an excellent bottle of wine. The Roquefort dressing is the best I have eaten. Really the best

Was visiting friends who work in Indiana and they chose this place. Old school family establishment...I think it has been around since 1913. Had lunch there and ordered Chicken piccata off of their lunch special menu. Special came with choice of soup or salad and I had the sausage soup. Both soup and chicken were good and price was $8.95.... More

My wife and I went to Iaria's for our anniversary. It's been 20 years since my last visit, and it was like going home. The service is outstanding and the food was fresh made. I had the Spinach Lasagna and my wife had the Chicken Masala. Both were magnificent and the meatballs are to die for. I won't wait so... More

Celebrating with friends, we wanted true, local Italian cuisine. This location is off the beaten path, and perhaps a step into the middle 1960's. Decor is simple, but the meal is anything but. Fabulous taste and a great variety of foods and wines to select from. We made reservations and were glad we did. We visited on a Wednesday evening... More
