The vodka sauce is excellent. We tried the pizza for the first time and it was very tasty. The sauce is thicker than your typical pizza sauce and the toppings were nicely diced. The seating is limited so I suggest an early dinner or be prepared to wait. Every dish brought out from the kitchen looked good.

For a hole in the wall restaurant that's always busy it would be refreshing to see them update the tired decor. At least replace the soiled ceiling tiles and update the bad restrooms. Our server Dan was awesome. In our many visits never had a bad server. They go out of the way to please. Food is not fancy and... More

Excellent Italian restaurant, with great service. Every dish we've had has been cooked and seasoned perfectly. It's located in a strip mall behind a filling station, so it's a little hard for non-locals to find.

This is a frequent spot for us and our regular dining companions. Always nice to sit it back room where it's quieter and tables are greater spaced for some privacy. Place is rather tired looking inside and not very upscale but clean and respectful. Bathroom is dingy so go before you come to eat. They have a great house merlot.... More

Vito Provolone's is definitely better than your typical chain Italian restaurants (Olive Garden, Buca di Beppo, etc.), but it is not the best Italian food that I have ever had. For Indy, I prefer Milano Inn but Vito's is not a bad choice if you want true Italian food. The service is always friendly, the taste is authentic, and the... More

I had dinner here and ordered the vegetable lasagna. It was not worth the $14. The top layer of lasagne pasta was as hard as a rock, but here is the kicker, it wasn't burnt. I'm guessing it was made, leftovers in the refrigerator, and then reheated when ordered. That caused the top layer to be inedible. The veggies inside... More

We have been twice now and love this place! Outside looks are deceiving, it looks like a hole in the wall in a strip mall, but the food and service are excellent. Our favorites so far: the bread, chicken marsala, mushroom soup, pizza and their alfredo sauce. The second visit ended up with quite a wait on a Thursday night,... More

We love having dinner here and, truly, we don't eat Italian food out anywhere else. We usually split an antipasto salad and a pizza (with plenty to take home). Other people who have gone with us have raved about the lasagna, the pasta with vodka sauce, and several of the chicken dishes. We love this place so much that when... More

I have been here a few times and each time I have been impressed by the quality of the food and service. It is in a strip shopping center but when you enter, you see tables with tablecloths, a nice decor and the best smell of food cooking ever! I have been with a group of 4-6 people each time... More

I have eaten here for over 20+ years and I will continue to eat here as long as they are open. The service is EXCELLENT and the food is always hot and delicious. Our personal favorites are chicken diablo, tortellini, and linguini with clam sauce. The bread is always great as well as the dinner salads. Be sure to order... More
