We can't stop talking about how much fun it was at last night's Tequila dinner! The 3 courses paired w/ tequila-based drinks were each an adventure. My favorite was the acorn squash soup accompanied by a flavorful Pumpkin Punch accented bymaple syrup. Yum! Also loved the 4th course of pumpkin cheesecake perfectly paired w/ raspberry salsa. Wonderful food at an... More

Live in the neighborhood and went past this place numerous times before trying it. We were underwhelmed with the cocktails and tacos for the price. Drinks were good but small. Tacos were average size but very dry. I had fish and she had steak.

If you're looking for authentic Mexican cusine, this shall be your spot. The guacamole is made table side and it's probably the best I've had, ever. The complimentary salsa is delicious as well.

While it was a little expensive, the margaritas were great and we were able to ask for (and get) extra hot salsa for the chips/salsa. The basic salsa is good, but was a little disappointing heat-wise so it was great to get something with a really strong kick. The mole was very complex and flavorful - really loved it. Overall,... Got the veggie enchiladas for dinner, which were pretty tasty, and came out quickly.. Good salsa and chips too. But the tall $8.50 house margarita had no effect at all. Come on guys - that is a big part of a Mexican meal for many of us - skimp on the ingredients for that and people (such as me) will... More

Visiting Indianapolis from out of town for Coldplay concert and coworker familiar with downtown recommended Adobo. He insisted I order the guacamole and he was right! Made fresh in front of your eyes. The house margarita was just as clean and refreshing. We tried the ceviche trio and enjoyed the Mahi the most. The queso cazuela was just okay...we could... More

With a downtown location, this place has huge potential. I can't put my finger on the vibe that we had when we walked in. It felt like an attempt to make your run of the mill Mexican restaurant feel upscale. Service was ok, table side guacamole was encouraged, almost pushed on us. Most important, I suppose was that out of... More

We were actually the first in line when this restaurant opened on Sunday June 26. We ordered fresh guacamole to be made right at our table and what a treat that was to watch it and then taste it so fresh and delicious! We ordered the sampler of ceviche and oh my heavens, the taste sensations it released! Scrumptious. Then... More

Took a large group here on a weeknight. Made a reservation, but the place was practically empty. The waitress was very pushy - trying to get us to order multiple appetizers and drinks (we were not drinking - and she was obviously disappointed as this would lower the tip.) Food was fine, but on the pricey side. (The man on... More

Adobo Grill is our go-to place if we don't have reservations or if there are crowds downtown. We've never had to wait, and the food never disappoints. Make sure you get the table side guac. I'm pretty picky about my guacamole, but theirs is always great :)
