A very beautiful location with very friendly staff and a good menu. A short walk to a gorgeous beach. Lots and lots of kangaroos and wallabies.

This is a lovely cafe - we went on Anzac day and it was very busy. I went with family, and have a severe allergy to seafood (I know - this perhaps wasn't a great idea!) The staff were awesome and were able to grill something separately, even though they were crazy busy and really looked after me. This place... More

This is one on my favourite spots on KI. You can visit the secret beach, then have lunch at this great little café. Food is great and staff friendly.

The Rockpool Cafe is at the end of nowhere, or very close to it. If you go to Kangaroo Island visiting the Stokes Bay Beach is a must. It is stunning. But make sure you get there in time for lunch because this little cafe serves magnificent food. I ordered the Salt and Pepper Squid and wasn't expecting too much.... More

We dropped in to this cafe on the beach just as they were closing. Despite this, they opened the cafe for us (there were six of us) and Josh and Lucy produced the most amazing meals in no time at all. The service was warm and friendly and the food (we all had different meals) was exemplary. Josh produced the... More

Stumbled upon this fab joint whilst tiuring around the island. Not only is the cafe the best but i think its the best beach on the island. Service and staff were second to none. Very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Oh food and coffee great also!

On a quick surf check at stokes bay we unexpectedly stumbled upon this fun little restaurant (it offers more than just a cafe) and enjoyed beautiful warm friendly staff and fast service, the restaurant was 95% full and we waited less than 15 minutes to receive our meals! We ordered fish and chips and salt and pepper squid and chips... More

Lovely meal, great service. Didn't know this place existed until a friend who has a block near Snellings Beach told us. Glad we stopped!

After realising that it was even harder than usual to get an evening meal in KI over Easter weekend came here on Easter Saturday at 4pm instead. Had quite simply the best 'fish and chips' we have ever had. Mixed platter included scallops, squid, and exquisitely breaded fish. All perfectly cooked, not at all greasy and very crispy. Very friendly... More

This delightful little cafe is located on the foreshore at Stokes Bay on the northern side of Kangaroo Island and in the middle of a very pretty drive along the coast. The cafe serves light meals and snacks and superb coffee - one of the best we'd had on KI. It is run by delightful ladies who give local advice... More
