I was passing through Plymouth on a recent (1/11/2017) business trip. Saw this restaurant with a pleasant enough exterior and stopped for lunch. What a mistake. While the soup & salad bar was OK, the service was absolutely awful. Unfortunately, I didn't catch her name, but she was the only lunch server I saw on the bar side today. She... More

Cyclonegup Thank you for informing me of your situation last Wednesday. I understand everything you have said in your review. Your server only works at The Brass Rail one time per week and has another full time job. Although that is not an excuse to be unfriendly. Ever since we had to start using the terminals that accept the chip... More

We go to The Brass Rail occasionally to eat. Have never been disappointed. Usually get fish because that is what they used to be most famous for. They have good steaks too and the service is always friendly and good without a long wait.

Nothing special, just a dive bar. Food it mediocre at best. Dated and dingy decore. Defiantly better places to eat in town

Dear "Skip it" I just read your trip advisor review of The Brass Rail. To say the brass rail is a dive bar couldn't be further from the truth. We have been in business since 1985 and have made many changes over the years including adding 2 more dining rooms to the south of the bar side. I can't begin... More

Had the loaded baked potato and it had everything but the kitchen sink on it and it was way more than I could eat!

The service was excellent. It was extremely busy when we were there. Still received good service and great food. The whitefish was excellent and also the burgers. Hot and tasty. Broad menu featuring some great choices.

Well above average bar food and atmosphere. We ate in the area close to the bar and while a little noisy was OK. There was another dining room in the building but we did venture in there. Meals were fine, service was good. It was a night before a Notre Dame home game so things were stating to get busier... More

We attended a wedding rehearsal dinner here with family and friends. We had a separate room from the other patrons. They did a nice buffet meal for us. Food was great!

Good atmosphere with the trivia contest. We had 6 and dined on burgers and fish. The meal was good, hot and prompt. Beer selection is small and does not offer anything other than mainstream. Service was prompt and friendly. Value priced

My wife and I visited Plymouth for the first time in over 20 years. The last time we ate at this place we remembered that it was good so we stopped in today. We both had the Stuffed Green Pepper Soup and it was delicious. My wife had the Spinach Salad with Shrimp, it was fresh and a generous helping.... More
