They are always busy . The twice baked potatoes are the best. I like the french dip sandwich. The portions are large enough to take home leftovers for the next day. The apple sauce is like apple pie. The only problem is you do smell like fried food when you leave.

Delicious food and friendly service. Prices are reasonable. A nice, local place to support instead of the chain places on Grape Road. Recommend the french dip and shrimp & corn chowder.

Anything from great hamburgers, Friday night fish, a number of dinners, and a great Polish style dinner also. This is the place that the locals go and good reason for it.

I have driven past this restaurant probably three times a week for the last 12 years. I finally stopped in for lunch. Always had heard good things about it, just thought it might be too much of a sports-bar. But not so much actually. The patty melt with cole slaw and twice baked potatoes was a great meal. The onions... More

This is a great "locals" bar/restaurant with excellent service and great food that has been in the family for generations. Stop in, have a great meal with plenty to eat,and you won't regret it.

We enjoy coming here on Friday evenings after the long work week. Love their cream of mushrooms and bean with ham soups. Always get the twice baked potato also. My husband enjoys the all you can eat fish.

Again, this is one of our regular stops when in South Bend. We love the local flair and favor of this business. I normally get the Fried Chicken. Oh yes.... just like mom use to make!

Best tenderloin in the area. And the special made it a great price. I am definitely going back soon. Also the twice baked mashed potatoes are insanely addictive!

After a long day on the road, we didn't want to try to find a restaurant in downtown South Bend on a Friday night. I'm so happy we found Bob's on Trip Advisor. It was an easy 3 miles west of our hotel and just fit the ticket for our needs. My husband had a prime rib sandwich and I... More
