Pricey .. and be prepared to wait .. the staff was friendly ... we arrived early on a Sunday morning and still had a 30-40 min wait ... the could have used a few more folks on staff ....

I went to Dixie Quicks for my birthday with my family. It was a great experience. If you like low key and great and unique foods. The menu is not big but what is on it is great. They have a variety of craft beers to enjoy as well.

Enjoyed the place- not expensive for a good meal in a quirky atmosphere. Atmosphere being concrete and brick walls with a lot of photo art and a very cute venue fly trap representation. Shrimp gumbo special was excellent- nice and spicy. Blacken catfish was small portion but they are up front about 7 oz. The chicken in lemon and wine... More

. . . but prices are rather high, especially for the atmosphere. The breakfast quesadilla was pretty unique, and really need salsa, in my opinion. They only had pico de gallo to offer, and I needed three of them, which I found out when we got the check cost $1 each. As for the "how expensive is this restaurant" question,... More

Great presentation of unique dishes. Try the Quan with steak, rice and greens. Popular place located downtown.

We have been eating at Dixie Quicks for years now. We go for Sunday brunch almost every week and seem to end up there for dinner once a week as well. For brunch we like the Chilaquiles, the French Toast with Berries, and the Eggs Blackstone which is like Eggs Benedict but with bacon and a slice of tomato instead... More

I had the large portion of brisket hash served with eggs and i asked for a tortilla instead of toast. Served on a hot plate with eggs as requested. Been here many times, since they were located in Omaha Nebraska. The new Iowa store has great character and helped to drive new development in what was a blighted area in... More

Love this place, quaint, different. The food is large portions and always delicious. Not the same old menu. Something new all the time.
