Service is poor - needs additional staff on Saturday nights. Long waits for service, food was not as ordered. Steaks over cooked (no staff checked back) - tough meats (blackened prime rib, rib eyes, and filet). I had similar service 4 years ago - thought we could try again. Never again. Over $60 per couple - waste of money.

I had heard from friends back in 2015 that the place "had slipped" and was not what it used to be. Several said the same thing and had not been there since 2011 or 2012. We decided to try it, anyway. We went early, right after they opened for the evening, and were amazed at the food, the service, everything.... More

Old fashioned steakhouse with old fashion quality and old fashion decor. While the decor in this place is quite dated. Great steaks, delicious food and good service, never go out of style!

Hands down, the best prime rib in Omaha. The regular cut is at least 12 ounces and probably closer to 16 for $25.99. Come with soup and salad, and your choice of side and fresh baked bread. Cooked perfectly and au jus is a nice complement. Don't expect a lot of 'atmosphere', this place is a throw back to the... More

A group of us stopped by the Pink Poodle on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. I had previously eaten here some 15 years ago when I was in Omaha for a conference. The name alone is a drawing card, but so is their food. I have no problem with the food or service. Both were above average. In fact, our... More

We stopped on the Pink Poodle for dinner on a Saturday night. Parking lot was full. Our meal was great and the service was outstanding, even though they were super busy. We were glad we stopped.

The decor of the Pink Poodle looks like it hasn't been updated for decades which kind of adds to the whole experience in a weird way. The cauliflower appetizer was absolutely delicious. The salad was pitiful - lots of brown lettuce. The bread was very good. I didn't have any soup but it smelled good. I had a club steak... More

A group of us went there for supper. Since I had never been there, was traveling, I decided to order their prime rib which is supposedly their speciality. It was OK, salad was just like the stuff you buy in bags at the grocery store, not fresh. Bean soup was very salty. Service was good.

Hi Folks. A good way to tell about a restaurant is by the rib-eye steak. My wife and I both got them. They cooked them exactly as ordered. The kitchen was fast and the service was good too. The atmosphere was "Great Plains Chic" Regards, OldeBear

We had a family birthday party here and the steaks were divine. This is a place more people should know about if they want great food in a family setting. Make time to look around at the collections or listen to the player piano.
