Chili was good. It was exactly what you would expect from a 63 year old roller-skate drive-in. Coney dog was good too. Chili is unique .

You either like this place or you hate it. It's an old school roller skate drive in restaurant from the 50's. Plenty of memories from my childhood are here and the place hasn't changed a bit. As for the food...I like the tenderloin and the fries. The burgers are thin and the chili isn't that great in its own, but... More

As the name implies, one of the house specialties is chili. It is the thin kind and has a unique flavor. Personally, I love it, but others don't necessarily agree with that. Coney Island style hot dogs are also great, but I'd pass on the tenderloins. Over the years they have gotten so thin you might not guess there is... More

My wife and I both had the pork tenderloins and Fries. They were okay. The chili King was opened in 1952 and it pretty much looks the same as it was when opened and you see the same style inside and out of the early car hop drive-ins.

We had the breaded loin(gristle), chili(more like a NY coney sauce), and onion rings(greasy and under cooked). Average food. You won't experience any primal grunts of satisfaction and nothing we had was "off the hook". There's vintage, and there's dilapidated. If you're writing a book on the thousands of uses for baling wire, support of their drive-in canopy would likely... More

Genuine diner experience and a great bowl of chili. I also took a coney dog to go and it was perfect. I'm glad I stopped.

It's been years since I've been here. Back in town with family, someone mentioned DDD visiting so....... Nice day To sit outside & enjoy a tenderloin @ onion rings. It was just ok, nothing great . Quite interesting to go inside , interesting experience. Not sure I would repeat!

We were really looking forward to eating here after seeing it on the Diners, Drive-In's & Dives show. What a disappointment! The food was good enough and as expected for a grease pit- but what really sealed the deal was the absolute MOST RUDEST employees (larger, older gal and younger male) who made this first and LAST visit so memorable.... Dirty dirty dirty! The place looks like it hasn't seen a scrub brush in years! Staff were sloppy looking and while nice enough to us, rude and loud to each-other. Food was ok but a bit bland. Not worth the hour we lost getting off the interstate for it.

Chili King doesn't have the greatest ambiance, but then I wasn't expecting it to. It's a basic drive-in, but the food was good. I had the coney dog, my husband ordered the fat lady special, and we split the chili cheese fries. The fries were especially good. We ate inside the first time, but the next time picked up the...
