Perfect place to stop and rest, on a couch or chair, and have a coffee or snack after visiting the Des Moines Sculpture Park! (Just across the street!) Loved the funky atmosphere and garage door that was half way open to the outside. Perfect for all ages!

I go here on Saturday mornings for coffee and some vegan food. There are musical performances on some evenings. It is a local hangouts for poets and artists and liberal political activists and LGBT people. At times local artists hang original works of art on the walls and try to sell it. This cafe is at the end of a... More

This place is great! Pretty incredible food, fantastic cold and hot tea and coffee concoctions. Their Cafe Americano's are perfect. This is a great spot to meet someone for lunch and chat for a while and you will more than likely run into someone you know there! two thumbs up.

Coffeehouse serves fair trade coffee, smoothies, and other hot and cold beverages not to mention tasty vegan food ( and I am a meat eater). Ritual cafe is a wonderful place to get a quick, simple bite to eat and a delicious cup of coffee. They have a full menu of breakfast and lunch items. I absolutely loved the atmosphere... More

I sorta found this place by accident. Was tired of eatin the same ol Jimmy Johns, Panera or Fighting Burrito. I didn't really know that it was a vegetarian/vegan cafe/restaurant but this place is the real deal! Really good food, a unique atmosphere, and a really chill spot for meeting up with friends and enjoying great coffee. Can't wait to... More

My first time here and the atmosphere was very calm and casual. They serve many different types of coffee and tea. They also have amazing fruit smoothies that I highly recommend. They are a vegetarian restaurant, and the food is amazing. They have many breakfast and lunch options, all at a great price. I had a black bean burrito, while... More

Stop in this morning with a couple of Associates to grab something to eat and discuss business. We were all offended that they had changed their menu today making it to basically slander and trash a very respected United States senator from our state. We are all free to have our opinions on politics. That being said I don't care... More

Hippie coffee bar with fantastic, but over-priced food, looking for yuppie with cash to burn. Promises a great atmosphere, food, drink, location, but an emptier wallet. Coffee at 5pm? As I cheekily note, it's good if you can get over the over-priced food. But since the beverage prices are reasonable for the upscale location, I'd still recommend it as a... More
