My wife and I went here on a Saturday at 07:00 PM. There were no other patrons. We ordered food and the bartender had to call the cook for her to come from her residence to make our meals. It is now 08:20 PM. In our time here, one other patron came in to have a drink. Our food has... More

What a wonderful experience! We arrived just before they start serving at 5 and ordered half liters of dark German bier. The owner gave us menus and explained that his wife prepares all of the food. She is a wonder! We began with chicken and cabbage soup that I could have made a meal of. Rich homemade broth and perfectly... More

This is the place to go for good authentic German food. We were greeted by a warm hello and everything we heard was true. Saurbratten w red cabbage, bread and butter was a super lunch. My friend had bratwurst and she said it was fantastic. Good cold drinks, a full bar and a festive atmosphere was typical for this place.... More

Don't be too taken aback by the outside of this little place. It looks like a downtrodden corner bar when you drive up. Step inside and there about 6 checkered table clothed booths or tables and tons of cool stuff on the walls. It IS a bar also, but serves great authentic Herman food at very reasonable prices! The beer... More

Friendly people, fabulous atmosphere and delicious food and drink, who could ask for more. The dinner on 10-16-15 was pork schnitzel and baked chicken with red cabbage and spaetzle, plus bread and butter. All we can say is that is was fabulous!!!

First let me say we were there near the end of food service time. Saturday evening and there were three patrons at the bar. The place is very much like a neighborhood tavern in Germany. Everyone was very friendly, service was good, beer was fresh and tasty. My wife and I had the weiner schnitzel dinner. Soup was excellent and... More

Cozy atmosphere, neighborhood-friendly and the best food ever! The beef was cut-with-a-fork tender and the spaetzle tasted homemade! I even loved the chicken noodle cabbage soup that came with the meal. You must try this place!

Like the atmosphere, but the best part was the good German food, esp. the red cabbage. We were there for lunch. The service was quick.
