Great food. Pricey, but atmosphere and food make it worth the $. Need new bread with dinner: it's like cardboard which is s uprising given the superb meals! Great for a romantic dinner when they don't have the music too loud. My wife and I go frequently, and we live 45 minutes away...

I love to go down on Main Street at night on the weekends so I can go from place to place seeing friends and having some drinks and eating some great food. There are a large number of bars and restaurants all close together in the 300 block of Main. Main Street got renovated in 1995 into a beautiful historical... More

Excellent service, great food at a reasonable price. The Pheasant Pot Pie is excellent and enough for two!

Friends and I stopped here after the symphony and had one of the best dirty martinis. Cute, coquette little bar, Love Russ the bartender.

Freezing cold outside, warm and friendly inside, plus superb menu specials and service. We enjoyed the Wagu Meatloaf and Duckling special. Sauces and garnish for both were splendidly prepared, and Bill an outstanding waiter. Bar was jammed full, with lots of laughter heard. Need to add onto a more regular stop here.

I travel for work on a weekly basis (a lot of local restaurants weekly) after traveling around the nation I always end up back in little Dubuque Iowa at a little Restaurant called Pepper Sprout. By far the best food/small town relaxed atmosphere with an amazing staff and incredible Chef (who talks with customers btw. Actually just got done praising... More

We went with four other couples for a New Year's Eve celebration. We all enjoyed our meal and the service was great. Good range on the wine list. We particularly liked the lamb, jambalaya with corn grits and steaks.

The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. Romantic ambiance except for the loud people at the table next to us. The prices were too high. I didn't recognized the glass of zinfandel I received. Tasted more like a dry red. Overall, worth a trip.

This group is so kind and friendly. They have great advice on the menu. Completely helpful on wine options. But most importantly the food is super. The beef stroganoff, beef bourguignon, and most importantly the alternative to thanksgiving is an incredible WOW. The space is small and intimate. It's a feel good place.
