We went here for my wife birthday with friends. The staff were very pleasant when we arrived and the carvery looked lovely but we all decided to eat off the menu. I had bbq chicken and and wife had the vegi option which was a vegetable lasagne with garlic bread. Our friends had the bbq chicken and a doubled up... More

A grand total of 12 adults and 3 children of my family met at the Plough & Harrow today for a lunch and general get together. The welcome we received from Jack and the other Bar Staff was lovely. The large area reserved for us was ideal and the food was to a very high standard. Some had the Carvery... More

Went for a works night out. Table of 12 - we pre-ordered our food but a last minute change of one of the staff, meant a last minute change of food - this was no problem and everyone got what they requested. All hot, all pretty served together. The food was lovely and good value. A few of the group... More

We were driving past on a Saturday lunchtime, it looked nice so we stopped. Lucky good choice and we get a table, I suspect if the weather hadn't been so awful we may have struggled, so booking would be advisable. Clearly focusing on operating as a carvery, and my it looked nice, my wife and I both chose to eat... More

Went to the Plough & Harrow on a Sunday evening with a couple of family members. Unfortunately, mid meal my cousin bit in to something which was extremely hard & tasteless- which we later discovered was a stone! Clearly from one of the vegetables. I approached a member of staff to inform them of this & to resolve the issue... More

I phoned Sunday morning to book a table for Sunday lunch the earliest was 3 o clock, when we arrived it was very busy but our table was all ready for us, we stood about 5 to 10 minutes for our carvery but it was worth the wait. Great service at the bar, amazing food with four choices of meat.... More

Best Carvery around. Dropped in without reservation Thurs evening, busy - three meat choice, tender and succulent service staff carved up meat with style professionally. Great choice of vegetables, healthy choices, nicely cooked. Staff were friendly.

Knew it was really popular before we even got inside as struggled to park the cars!! Very busy inside but only waited a couple of minutes if that to be shown to our table. Had to queue but the team were very efficient and we didn't wait that long to get our carvery. Food was delicious and plenty of choice.... More

we went last night 28th Jan for a meal with party of eight. the steak was fantastic , the pepper sauce and home made onion rings were touches that set the food apart. the carvery was excellent and all was reasonably priced. the only complaint was the cost of diet coke, the nominated driver paid almost as much as we... I would love to give this Pub restaurant 5 stars but certain things let it down, such as Staff attitude / attentiveness and service skills. It has great food with plenty of choice for starters, mains or desert, no complaints here on that score. Ate there last night 25.01.17, had to almost shout to get someone's attention that I was...
