We really enjoyed ourselves here. I had ribs which were pretty good, my husband took pork and he was very happy with his choice. Also service was pretty nice and the prices were affordable. Overall, we suggest it!
My wife and I always enjoy going here. Not a large place. Owner/operator/cook/ server is always enjoyable to talk with. Ribs are very good, smoked Mac n cheese is a nice touch. Hours are kind of funky but they are what they are. We usually...eat dinner early. We enjoy the whole meal, service and atmosphere.More
We were just passing through town on our way to Missouri. We are from Texas and my husband loves BBQ so we decided to try Ross's. Great decision. Hubs had brisket, coleslaw and potato salad and I had pork, baked beans and corn on the...cob plus each came with a small green salad. The sweet tea was amazing. Just the right amount of sweet and a very "crisp" flavor. This dinner for 2 was less than $25.00, which we consider to be a very good price! I highly recommend Ross's for your BBQ "needs"!More
The food here is delicious, the prices are just right, the portions are plentiful and the owner and staff are very friendly. The barbecue sauce is homemade by the owner and the meats fall off the bone so you can sauce them up real good!...The sides include mac n' cheese as an option and the shells are HUGE...See photo for detail.
If we had room, we would have ordered dessert.
The only reason they don't have five stars is because this place is over 10 hours from our home...Boo!More
It's a little nondescript place and easy to pass by if you are not looking for it. The ribs were falling off the bones and tasty. The brisket was tender and juicy. The "from scratch" BBQ sauce was so good that I wish it had...been just a little thicker to better coat the meat... but then again the meat was smoked so well that you didn't need BBQ sauce! Thanks Mr. Ross!More
We went to the Dalton Museum and thanks to Trip Adviser contributors found Ross's BBQ. The food is fantastic. We had the ribs. They were flavorful, tender ..perfect and Johnny has great sides to go with it. Johnny is a super friendly guy. He took...the time to chat with us to explain how he got his start in the business. Long story short ...Ross's BBQ is there as a result of popular demand;cranking out great BBQ and friendly service!
His hours are limited to Wednesday through Friday 11:00 to 8:00 pm. I'd recommend that you call in advance, to check for their hours of service. This a is a small mom and pop diner.More
