In a tiny medieval village, this restaurant dishes up a delicious lunch with exceptional local products and attentive service at a very reasonable price point. Tuna tartare with raspberry, chicken with chanterelles, a delicate meringue with fruit and a basil sauce. There are some unconventional pairings in that list but all were delicious and executed with great style. At lunch it was 35€ for three courses with a further 6€ getting you a glass of wine and coffee. Moreover, the kitchen were very accommodating of our two young children who joined us – inventing a two-course menu for them that was certainly the most impressive meal of their lives so far.

Taking two culinary courses with Kate Hill at Kitchen-at-Camont and one of our field trips was to Auberge Le Prieuré for lunch. This is not a large restaurant and is set in the small town of Moirax, south of Agen. We were seated and in for a memorable lunch. Each dish was a work of art, fully explained by the staff, and I found one of the most ethereal meals I have experienced. This is a place for any special occasion and definitely choose the tasting menu to taste and enjoy a range of dishes. Reservations highly recommended.

By coming on an annual pilgrimage to the Priory, one could imagine no longer being surprised by the creativity and talent of Chef Toursel. Yet it is quite the opposite and the magic happens again and again. If appetizers (shrimp tartare or blown bread) already set the tone, the menu confirms what we already knew: freshness, flavors, inventiveness, boldness and know-how coexist in a perfect marriage. Courgette in several forms, tuna like a sashimi with condiments, roasted eggplant or “poached/iced” apricot are all variations around the theme of pleasure! A huge bravo for these little miracles to this conductor of perfect chords and all the staff. Agathe, in right (and left) arm always officiates with tact, enthusiasm and professionalism, perfectly advising food and wine pairings and precisely coordinating a very friendly service team. Can’t wait to return next year to receive a new “blessing.”

So beautiful. We sat in the court yard which was lovely but I would recommend wearing bug spray. The food looked and tasted beautiful, the staff explained each course and at the end the chef came and spoke to us. Would recommend booking as some of our friends couldn’t get a table last minute.

Excellent meal with bold combinations and perfect seasonings Very nice time spent in this pretty inn We can't choose our dishes but it allowed us to discover flavors and dishes that we would never have had if we had had the choice. A big thank you to the chef for this delicious discovery and to the waiters for their kindness. A very very good time

2nd meal in this beautiful establishment, this time on the terrace. Very pleasant to eat in the shade of the trees. Everything is perfect, the beauty of the dishes, their flavor, the combinations of tastes, colors, scents, the presentation made by the service team. All this in an appreciable simplicity for a starred restaurant. The village is also worth the detour for an aperitif or digestive stroll. This was our 2nd visit there will certainly be a 3rd, a 4th etc.

A magical place, of which few exist in Lot et Garonne, and perhaps even the only one that deserves its star in the Michelin guide. The whole meal was just a succession of flavors, each more succulent than the last... The combination of smoked eel and foie gras is simply perfect... the service is just as perfect, attentive without being oppressive, In short, a perfect restaurant to (re)discover REAL gastronomy!!

Deserves his reputation. Culinary creation does not frustrate the taste. Everything is precise, just, sublime. Lunch at 47 euros starter, main course, dessert, a glass of white, coffee, is delicious. Make and repeat.

A small room of an inn in the beautiful village of Moirax Very smiling service. The boss is interested in opinions. Discovery menu at 80€ A beautiful, balanced cuisine, sophisticated and even daring and unusual combinations, well seasoned. At the top of the star basket. Very fine appetizers Entrance Scallops, sorrel, rice cream, fermented peach. Very balanced. Perfect consistency. Sweet Cévennes onion, eel, tapioca, potato mousse, marrow and cocoa. The little broth is delicious. Flat Sirloin fillet rolled into thin slices, poached, peat whiskey (? We didn't smell it), sucrine, beet juice. Kompot pepper juice. The cooking is perfect. Soft meat. A delight Desserts Citrus fruits, curry and coconut (very light), lemon. Perfect. Ganache whipped with Jerusalem artichoke, hazelnut praline, milk foam, almond streusel. An astonishing, delicate and very successful mixture. Amazing treats….and very beautiful!

A great restaurant! We regularly have Michelin-starred restaurants and this one was a great experience. The market menu is unbeatable value for money. Creative cuisine, perfect cooking, and service that is as efficient as it is friendly. We have adored. Note, a very nice wine list also. Bravo to you, we will come back. Good luck from the people of Orléan. :-)

We enjoyed the meal with its multiple and subtle flavors. The originality of the dishes always respects a beautiful harmony of flavors. Well done for knowing how to skillfully renew a very varied menu. We come back and will come back with great pleasure, the service is friendly and the atmosphere friendly. All this requires work and consistency, congratulations to the whole team

Benjamin and Agathe, Agathe and Benjamin: a couple in harmony, the perfect food and wine pairing, the love of good, the love of beauty, simply bubbling and delicious love. We sit down and become attached to their generosity, constantly put back on the stove, constantly reinvented throughout the seasons. Lunch in the shade of large trees or inside is always the promise of a moment of shared happiness. Well done and thank you for always surprising us and opening us up to tastes.

Outdoor dining in a garden area - be warned of mosquitoes and cover up if you are prone to being bitten! Attentive staff who lit multiple mosquito coils around and under the table for us. Food - as delicious as it looks ! Every piece was a work of art! Allow yourself to be taken on an adventure by the chef.

We went for lunch and were lucky to have the small dining room which has enough room for a table for four. We had the 5 course lunch, completely vegetarian safe 2 scallops. What can I say ? Every course was very good, some were just exquisite. I will definitely come back in summer. Apparently the terrace on the other side of the street is lovely

We just had a wonderful lunch at this Michellin 1 star; the food and service were excellent and the setting on a shaded walled terrace was beautiful.
