We received a very warm welcome from our hosts, Alan & Jane and were taken to our table. The menu was explained in detail and we had time to ponder it. The meal and service are what one would expect from a top class restaurant and the wine selection was varied. Just about everything on the menu is from Sth.... More

The cuisine created by chef Wayne and service by Rose - especially in relation to the young children was impeccable. Rate it as excellent and especially for a regional area - can't wait to go again.

Welcome was extra special as our friends were welcomed on first name basis - impressive. We shown to our table, view overlooking peaceful garden plus restaurant quite busy. All dishes to be served were explained plus explanation of wines and origin added to - yes this a very friendly and welcoming restaurant.

It's a destination on it's own but so worth it. An iconic setting, whether for couples or small functions, inside or outside settings. A small but wonderful menu - all 6 of scraped our platters clean. Even if you got a pet dog you can tie them up on the lawn while you dine in the garden or on the... More

We stopped here at 3pm looking for a coffee - a sign out the front said 'coffee Mon-Thurs, dinner Fri and Sat' yet as there were signs for an art exhibition and lots of people eating as well as free tables we thought we'd try for coffee. We understand they could only do cold beverages but it is confusing when... More

Hi Lucy Thanks for sharing your experience. We do advertise coffee on our sign and try our best to accommodate diners, visitors to the art exhibitions and those just popping in for afternoon tea. Unfortunately, on our busiest days, such as Easter and this Anzac weekend, the number of customers who arrive without a booking for lunch is excessive. Once... More

If you are looking for a restuarant experience that combines ambiance, amazing food and excellent service at very reasonable prices then you must dine at Leonard's Mill. Not really knowing anything about the restuarant, my husband & I walked in off the road for a Sunday lunch. From the moment that we walked in the door we were made to... More

We went for a family lunch to celebrate my in-laws 50th wedding anniversary as we loved the look of the building & outside space whilst passing by on a previous day trip. what was truly mind blowing was the attention to detail on our meals that you would normally see in Melbourne or Sydney 5* establishments. A piece of art... More

Very nice setting. Lots of beautiful places to sit or walk through. Friendly and engaging staff. Only had coffee, which was OK. Not cheap. Would I have a meal there? Maybe if looking for special ambience and had plenty of money.

Delicious! Nine of us enjoyed a great night out filled with delectable tastes. The owners and hosts made tasty recommendations from food to local wines. The building itself offered us all a taste of the past and history which only added to the spices of the meal. A delightful evening!
