Two business associates and I dined here on a Monday night. Place was not busy so we got right in. We dined at the grill so that was somewhat entertaining. Food was very good and well prepared. Location is easy to find.

Service was good. Meal was just ok and a bit overpriced considering on what was presented. Overall, I just didn't feel that the meal was indicative of a higher rating.

Come here quite often with my wife. We generally sit in the dining room as the service is quick and friendly. The sushi is good for Kansas. I would recommend you try the Udon noodles with beef.

Daimaru has been a diamond in the rough for many years now. Whether you eat in the dining room or around a hibachi table, you won't be disappointed. Jason and the staff are top notch, the food is always fantastic! Make plans to try it out if you never have, you'll be hooked after the first time. Thanks Jason!

The show at this Japanese steak house isn't as good as it is at others. We generally eat in the main dining room without the show. Good is fantastic.Tried their fried rice.

We've been going to Daimaru since they were on East Crawford. Try the Martha Roll! Named after me and I "designed" it! I interviewed my most recent Aflac agent applicant there. She joined my team!

We love Daimaru steakhouse. Like any Japanese steakhouse, your experience depends on the chef you get. We've had standard chefs and chefs that have WOWed us. However, no matter what "show" you get, our food is always delicious. Soup and salad appetizer, great vegetables, fried rice, noodles, and we've never had a bad protein. We highly recommend this restaurant for... More

In Salina for business trip. Wanted steak and was told about Daimaru. Saturday night 20 min wait at the bar so i thought it must be good then. Seated and the cook was great......showy without being over the top. Food was really good....and lots of it for a VERY reasonable price.

Hibachi Grill/Show is average, fun for the first time; kids love it. You can order off menu or grill; but all food is 3 star. Sushi not recommended, not enough turn-around so the seaweed is very fishy tasting. Fried rice is best dish IMO. Would go once a year. Meh.

I usually eat in the bar and order off the menu. If you want your mind blown, try the Tuna Nachos! No, you can't imagine what they are like. Wowsa! Anything you order will be wonderful. Extremely nice people and great service. They have a spectacular sushi bar! Great place for partys, families, groups, or a couple. The teppanyaki chefs... More
