Reasonably priced breakfast, very good service, and a comfortable place to enjoy eating my food. If you like good food at a reasonable price, then stop by and enjoy your meal.

Stopped by here based on the reviews Normally tripadv is spot on; as I trust it more than any other review group. But not on this one. I should've guessed by the small number of cars in the parking lot, that this isn't exactly "THE" place to eat in Berea. Ordered the meat loaf, and regretted it quickly. It was... More

hubbie had bacon cheeseburger, i had bbq sandwich. mine was better choice. burger as average no real flavor.. I would compare to going to another country store. I would pick the other. the food is kicked up a notch. I had cup of veg soup. It was ok. One speck of beef in it. Mostly starchy veg.

The place had a homey feel and was clean. The service was friendly and there was a cute gift shop attached that we enjoyed. The food was very good! Only thing was not silverware on the tables and had to go look for a spoon to stir coffee but other than that I recommend!

This restaurant is what Cracker Barrel wants to be. Most of the staff (cooks, servers) have been at the Dinner Bell for years and know their "regulars" (I usually don't have to order my drink, it is brought to me with the menu!). Service can be a bit slow for some orders (it is cooked as it ordered), but usually... More

We stopped at the Dinner Bell, based on a description in the AAA Berea, KY guide. They described meat loaf like mom makes and a few other southern food descriptions that hooked us. We got there on a Saturday evening around 8; they closed at 9. The waitress was very nice, but sad to inform us that they were busy... More

I stopped here for lunch on my trip between Knoxville and Lexington. I was looking forward to a home cooked meal. I was disappointed in the chicken fried steak as it was not tender and the gravy tasted like paste. The pinto beans and mashed potatoes were good which salvaged the three star rating. Check out the candy selection at... More

They advertise home cooked meals and and some things were good but others terrible. The homemade salmon patties and fried green tomatoes as was the fried okra, bit it was right out of a freezer bag. The mac and cheese was the worst, made with cheese whiz and maybe out of a can. Even worse it was barely room temperature!... More

First time there, breakfast was excellent. We tried a little bit of everything, eggs, bacon, sausage, etc. My wife loved the home fries, which are sliced & crispy, almost like a super-thick potato chip. My country ham was a generous portion & really good. Good service. Recommended.

We stopped late in the lunch hour to grab a quick sandwich. We had the patty melt and a hot ham and cheese. We agreed that both sandwiches were excellent and the service was very good. We also tried a piece of Coconut meringue pie. Yum!!!
