Thanks to Trip Advisor we found this lovely gem of a restaurant while on a lengthy road trip. The ambiance, food and service were all warm, delicious, and friendly. The evening at The Bistro made our stop in Bowling Green quite memorable. I highly recommend this reasonably priced innovative dining establishment.

We were a party of seven. We were very fortunate to have Heidy as our server. 2 people in our party had been here before, but the rest of us had never been before. We heard about the amazing Filet steak, so we has at least 3 of these at our table. It was everything we could have imagined! Highly... More

The pork belly rice bowl was highly recommended and feeling a bit adventurous, I obliged! Wow. Such a wonderful combination of flavors. This is a MUST. My husband had creamy pasta with shrimp....the meal was delicious! This all started with a mouthwatering wedge salad. This was our first visit and we will be back! Jen, our server, was a doll... We went on the recommendation of the owner of TylerAdamsHouse-- where we were staying and literally walked 100yds to the front door of the establishment. You can tell as you enter --that the original building had to be close to 100 years old It was very tastefully remodeled , keeping with the integrity of its past history. They have a... More

After reading the other reviews I guess I'm not as enamored with this place as others. We were there on a night that wasn't very crowded - I'm not sure if it was crowded where everyone would park. Seems like a lot of street parking and some from the post office if it's not operating. The building was pretty unique.... More

We had a wonderful dinner from start to finish. The service was wonderful and attentive! The food fresh and the specials were delightfully different. I had the chicken with a grit cake, another had the pork belly with corn compote and cabbage. I highly recommend eating here when you have a chance.

I'm just going to start this by saying I'm a big big fan of The Bistro in Bowling Green Ky. We have enjoyed many meals there dating back to the original location on Russellville Rd. It is truly fine dining with a friendly family feeling. Chef Sasha Mandropa is a master of all types of cuisine . I have never... More

The meal was good, but we had to wait more than an hour for the entree to arrive. The service was good, but also rather slow. It may not be fair to judge a restaurant by a group event, but based on the experience, I would not go back.

This is a special place. First the atmosphere is very upscale, old brick and lots of wood, with real paintings, for sale of course. My waitress was knowledgeable and attentive. I prefer seafood, and there are many great choices. I did a special seafood baked appetizer and a salmon special entree, both excellent. The house chardonnay was quite good. Wouldn't... More
