So we went on a recommendation of a friend, and booked our son's rehearsal dinner here. Loved the atmosphere, the décor, the waitstaff was wonderful. The food was great. Great for a date night, girls night, family gatherings. Can't wait to return

They are fantastic. I love to come there around Derby Day, especially, to get their Ky Burgoo and Tousey Pie. (Derby Pie) what a treat! Need to try Breakfast Buffet on Sundays.

Such a charming location! Thoroughly enjoyed our evening at The Tousey House - wonderful service, and a truly memorable meal. The iceberg salad with blue cheese dressing exceeded expectations, and the fried chicken was so so good! Definitely worth diverting off of the highway for a meal!

Thankfully they were able to accommodate our last minute reservation and we enjoyed our dinner. What I loved most was the ambiance of the The Tousey House.

My son's graduation dinner with family/friends, on Friday night. Made reservations a week before and communicated need for gluten free ability for my son's girlfriend. Additionally, she is alergic to other items, and they said they would work with us. We were seated at a small crowded round table (7 of us, 3 large men). There were open square tables... More

I recommended this restaurant for a after work business dinner. Only two persons out of 7 were local. The locals recommended the Hot Brown. I am not a Hot Brown fan. Having eaten here before my hubby and I decided to share the chicken livers and chicken dinner. We waited all week for the chicken livers deep fried in a... More

We made reservations and were seated immediately. We brought in my grandparents and the server was able to accommodate them without any questions. They wanted to split the fish which can be a pain but it was no issue here. They both loved it! I had the filet with crab and asparagus - I don't think I contributed to the... More

This was my first visit to Tousey House Taven located in a charming historic building built in 1822. I loved the atmosphere of the different eating spaces with their interesting antique pieces and paintings. We went on a Friday night as a walk-in. The restaurant was nearly full but we were able to be seated right away. The food was... More

Tousey House is a building on the historic register in Burlington, KY. It features good and unusual dishes, and the feeling that you have stepped back in time. Beautiful antiques and really good food. Also, some outstanding outdoor seating for the warm weather.

Thank Kat K
