About
Cattleman's Roadhouse is a locally owned, Kentucky Proud restaurant. We are not a chain, but we do now have several locations in the surrounding area. We are just a couple of Kentucky boys serving great steaks! We pride ourselves in local buying and suppliers. When we opened our first restaurant, we scoured the state to find the best quality foods possible. Our steaks are aged 28 days, hand-cut, and are second to none in tenderness and flavor. Our burgers are Aspen Ridge All Natural Beef that is certified, humanely raised, with NEVER any antibiotics. From our locally sourced produce to our handmade desserts by Helen, we strive to serve better quality foods than other casual restaurants. Stayed one night at a local hotel, and had researched this place before we got there. It's easy to find, about a mile away from the local strip of hotels and chains, it will be well worth your time to find it. We arrived about 5:00 on a Thursday and were immediately seated. Our Server, CJ was very attentive throughout the entire meal, bringing us refills and other items without needing to be asked. Two different managers touched base, which is another nice touch. The food was served quickly, all of it was hot, very well seasoned, and quite tasty. After a long day on the road, no words were spoken once the food arrived, and all plates were clean. The molten lava cake dessert was also very, very good. The entire location, including the bathrooms is easily wheelchair accessible.

My husband and I had dinner here based on TA reviews. They have Early Bird specials on Monday through Thursday from 3-5:30 pm and all day Sunday. My husband had the Country Fried Steak ($11.99) and I had the 6 oz. Sirloin ($12.99) from the Early Bird menu and both were very good. Prices included one side, rolls and salad bar (served by an attendant). Service was very good.

The steak, baked potato, and onion rings were all excellent. They tasted fresh and cooked just right. Not over seasoned so you could add your own salt and pepper. The cheesecake was real New York style cheesecake and was fantastic. The only negative and the reason I gave them four stars instead of five was because they forgot to bring the appetizer we ordered. I reminded them after our entree had arrived and the server immediately said I’ll take that off your bill and walked away. A few minutes later she came back and asked if I still wanted the appetizer and I said yes, she must have overheard my comment to my husband. The sweet tea was barely sweet, which was ok with me. The ladies restroom was clean but they needed to empty all their trash cans. Overall it was excellent, but they have a service problem when the restaurant is busy. Would I go back? Yes.

I went the day this restaurant opened and several times since, There is absolutely nothing special about cattlemans. They bring you 1 roll, You get 1 side with your steak and an option to add a salad bar for 3 more dollars. Steak nothing special, best thing they have is a burger. Georgetown is severely lacking in the food department, when Texas roadhouse comes maybe this place will step it up. Would not reccomend, but there isn't anywhere else to go eat so I assume thats why its crowded.

Came here on a Sunday evening before a Monday visit to Ark Encounter. Wait for 13 people was just about 30 minutes at 6pm…that was impressive. Our server was top-notch with quick service in drink orders and kept them full. Salad bar was had the usual salad options along with 6-8 cold salad/side items. The broccoli/bacon/onion salad was outstanding. Prices were very reasonable for a steakhouse.
I had sirloin steak that was ordered medium. Came out between medium well and well. Light pink in center with very little juice. Steak didn’t have a lot of flavor so salt and pepper helped. Honestly, it wasn’t as good as a steak I’d grill at home from home-grown cattle. The Southwest rice was my side and it too had little flavor. I took just a few bites and didn’t eat anymore.
If I lived closer, I’d come back to try it again. If I was traveling through, I’d likely shoot for somewhere else. The 3 star rating may seem lower based on the positives, but when you’re a steakhouse, you really need to have a memorable steak and that just wasn’t the case for several in our party.

This is usually one of our go-to places. Generally good service and good food. Not tonight. Service was non existent and the beef tips were over cooked, cold and dry. Pretty sure the server forgot to put the ticket in; we sat after ordering for at least 30inutes. I asked one of the servers in the bar area to check on our order, and she didn't do that for five minutes. Eventually a assistant manager brought it out and could not give me an answer as to why it was so late other than crews were already starting clean up, though they didn't close for at least an hour and a half. Anyway, in the long run the manager comped our meals.
We told her this wasn't the service and food quality we usually got, and hoped it would be better the next time we're in.
I guarantee, though, that if we're offered seating in the bar we'll decline.

Great food at very reasonable prices. Add the full unlimited salad bar to your meal for $2.99.... well worth it. Salad bar has it all .
Steaks are very tasty and cooked perfectly.

I had never eaten at Cattleman's so I thought I'd give it a try as it was next to the hotel where we were staying. We did carry-out and ordered online. The online order process was well designed, easy to use and my order was filled accurately.
I had the steak sandwich and mashed potatoes. The potatoes were good. The steak not so much. It was cooked to order but fatty and sinewy on a soggy cold bun. Almost half was inedible but it didn't have much flavor so I probably wouldn't have finished it anyway.
My wife had the crispy chicken wrap. It was good and they did a nice job with the steamed broccoli.
Also, when I got the meal back to the hotel I found we weren't given plasticware or napkins. Fortunately, the hotel was able to provide plasticware for us.
I won't be eating at a Cattleman's again.

Traveling again and returned because our first experience was wonderful. On our second visit my porterhouse steak had gristle running through it so sent it back. They not only apologized profusely but Christian personally delivered it and asked if I wanted to try it before he left the table. Then Parker came out in few minutes later to check on us again!! Everyone was more than apologetic. Have eaten in Charleston, Maui, Kauai, Seattle, LA, Park City just to name a few. Best most caring service anywhere. Special to thanks our server, Sam, she is great. Cannot give a higher recommendation to everyone at Cattleman’s. If the boss is reading this give ‘em all a raise, really. By the way the steak is wonderful and sides are classic great country “cookin”.

Great staff from reception to service. We did not have a wait for a table and the service was prompt and efficient. The server was pleasant and knowledgeable of the menu. The salad bar was fresh and fully stocked. The steak was cooked perfectly and the potato was hot and tasty. The rolls were excellent too! I will definitely return soon and often!

After a quite long wait for our steaks, we were delighted with the quality of the meat and the cook on the steaks.
The restaurant, though, was not clean. Our chairs had food on them, and the floor was filthy. We watched a waitress wipe a table off without moving the condiments, and push the chairs in after toddlers had eaten there without cleaning them. A highchair was also put away dirty. We stepped over dirty napkins and straw wrappers and pieces of food.
But.....the steaks were great.

Real close, about 4 minutes from our house and have been planning to try it. Ordered a carry out, fried cod sandwich and a fried cod dinner. Cod was pretty good, the fries that came with it were a disaster. Cold, greasy, pitiful. My measure of a restaurant is if they can not get the basics right, go elsewhere. Reflects a lack of management and attention. Coffee needs to be fresh and hot, fries, too. We were just past lunch rush. The fries we were served should have been in the garbage about 15 minutes before they were placed in carryout container.

l am not sure how to describe this. First dining experience in Georgetown not good. There is no way they use black Angus meat. Both husband and I had steaks. We both ordered medium.His came cook correctly, Mine came out not cooked right. It looked like a dry hamburger patty with a bourbon sauce on it.They did fix it but next one didn't come with bourbon sauce and neither steak had any flavor. I even put salt and pepper on it and it still wasn't enough. Also I was yelled at at the salad bar because they don't have instructions that person will make it for you, so I proceed to grab a bowl and a person who was sitting at the end went crazy. Not a good experience at all. I would upload picture of steak but to large file.

Was okay. Fried green tomatoes didn’t have much flavor. Our mozzarella wedges had almost no cheese inside. White fish and Salmon were both great!!! Chicken tenders was best value and very fresh without a ton of breading. Our first time and nor sure I’d go back.

I ordered carry out and the young man that took my order (Gabe) was so polite, he answered all my questions and made sure my order was correct!! Great job!! Great job to the kitchen staff as well, the food was great, and Gabe double checked and made sure I had all of my special requests in the bag!! Thank you all so much!!
