In May my husband and I stayed at the lodge so we ate at the restaurant there within the lodge. They automatically seat you at the window if a table is available. the view is gorgeous. The waitresses we had were very friendly and made us feel very welcomed. The food was good, not excellent (the reason for the 4... More

We had lunch here and it was fantastic! My husband ordered the KY brown and loved it! I ordered all you can eat catfish and it was delicious -best I have ever had! Service and view and great food - couldn't ask for more!

Kentucky State Resort Parks always score high on food. Rowena Landing is no exception. Nice selection (I recommend the seafood platter and hot brown). Very tasty and reasonably priced. Friendly service!

Great view of the lake! Very pleasant and attentive servers. Food is absolutely barely adequate. We never tried the buffet as it wasn't open for breakfast or lunch for some reason. The burgers and chicken that the kids ordered were no better than a fast food restaurant. The pancakes at breakfast were "gritty." Our steak salad (steak cooked medium rare)... More

We were hoping to have the dinner buffet at this restaurant on a Sunday evening. However, they didn't offer it, so we had their specials. They provided us with huge plates full of food that looked good but only average tasting. We have had better food before at this restaurant.

We had the buffet which was fairly good. Catfish fiddlers, catfish nuggets, bbq ribs, fried chicken, and some normal buffet style food green beans, mashed tatoes (which had great flavor), greens, salad bar. About what you would expect from a buffet but a bit better than average, friendly staff, and a great view is why I gave 4 instead of... More

Walked in, we were seated in the BACK of the restaurant. Soda had a plastic taste, my bf asked for Sweet tea and it was unsweetened. Asked for a hot brown and they were out, server stated she would ask if he would make one but she doubted it because he was in a bad mood. He said no. I... More

It was a decent deal, but the food was mostly below average. The salad bar was nice, but limited as were desserts. All of the vegetables were overcooked. Shrimp and chicken were fine. It was not busy. Nice view.

Rowena restaurant at Lure Lodge, Lake Cumberland, delicious food. We enjoyed their breakfast buffet, which had lots of good things to eat, I.e. scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, biscuits and gravy, or you could order from the menu. There dinner buffet was very tasty too. Everyone was very helpful and friendly, a great place to spend a week-end or... More

Typical breakfast buffet. We were there 40 minutes before closing and there were only 6 people in the restaurant, but they enough food still available for another 100 people. Most food was dried out and had been sitting much to long. I just wondered what they do with the leftovers, hope it goes to a god cause.
