We stopped in for lunch between tours. Good food and quick service. We both had sandwiches. Nice selection on the menu.

Second time eating here. Will be back. Sandwiches were fantastic. Broccoli salad is an absolute must try. If in area it is a must go.

This restaurant came recommended to us by a distillery worker, so we drove 45 minutes to eat lunch. We walked in the door and were told they were no longer taking orders as their refrigeration had gone out. Disappointed, we understood as it was out...of their control. Fast forward, 4 days later we drove 45 miles as their website showed they were open. We both ordered BLT sandwiches and were told they didn’t have any bacon- they had run out and weren’t cooking anymore; they had a sign up that they didn’t have any chicken salad; and he mentioned they were out of sides. If you want to eat here, I’d suggest you call to see if they have any food. We are leaving the area tomorrow so won’t be giving them another chance.More

Stopped in for lunch while in the area. We both had Reubens, but I asked for mine to come without saurkraut and swiss. My wife really liked hers, but mine was not real good. They ended up just giving me pastrami on rye toast. The...pastrami was apparently heated up on the grill, which was OK, but it was chopped (not sliced) and was very dry (probably overcooked). The toast was also very well done. Overall, just OK, nothing special.More

Ah-MAZING!!!!! I stopped by to get carry out. A bit of a wait, no problem. Highly suggest checking out Tastefully Delicious (gourmet shop) practically next door. I took home a cold Italian sub that was enough for two meals. The bread is divine and made...the sandwich. Love that the meats and onion were sliced paper thin. I had a piece of lemon blueberry marscapone cake. OMG. That marscapone icing - not sweet, just perfection. I would love to see it on other cakes. Don’t miss this gem! 🥪 🍰More

Stopped for lunch, a great place to eat. Loved the grill cheese sandwich and "pink fluff". Take time to look at all the baseball memorabilia.

Hidden Gem. Clean. Good service. Sandwiches are big. The Rachel was pretty satisfying. Potato salad....pass. But overall, not too shabby.

I fell in love with this place. The streets were closed due to the Burgoo festival, so we had to park and walk a bit to get here. I'm so glad we did. The place is bigger than you think. The front picture window is...a lounging area. You get the impression this may have been a window display at one time. The order counter runs along the right wall and tables along the left. Beautiful creaky old wood floors run the length of the room. A red British phone booth is unexpected, but cool. The little back room is where families seemed to sit. Through the left side is an opening to a large game room with long tables. The number one reason to come are the employees. The two people taking our order were polite, funny, engaged and genuinely nice. We had a BLT and Reuben sandwich. Both were really well done. Thumbs up to Heavens to Betsy (and the burgoo festival).More

What a fantastic sandwich shop! We consulted Yelp! for a lunch recommendation before our tour of Wild Turkey and Four Roses in the area. This place was highly recommended and for good reason! Very quaint little town. We easily found a place to park right...on the street in front of the restaurant on a Friday around 11:30. Very large inside but also outdoor seating. A good selection of sandwiches and soups all reasonably priced. Delivery of the food took a little longer than expected but everyone in the party enjoyed their order. I had a Reuben and it was excellent. Highly recommend!More

My husband and I visited today based on friends recommendation. So glad we did! Of course with COVID-19, they offered only carry out, but we were able to enjoy our lunch at their patio table. We had the Reuben sandwich and their homemade chicken salad...sandwich. The portions were hearty (having to take half of a sandwich home) and everything not only had an appetizing presentation, it all tasted delicious! If you're close to or passing through Lawrenceburg, you must stop by Heavens to Betsy!More

This restaurant has good hot sandwiches, but most cost around $9.50 each, even at lunch time. If you call in the order, it will be ready in 10 minutes. If you order in person, it will take at least 20 minutes. The staff are sometimes...friendly, but not overly so, and ordering in person is a slow process. Refills of soft drinks & tea are limited to one.More

Yummy, LARGE, creative hot and cold sandwiches in a cool atmosphere. If you like spice, get the Spicy Italian. It never disappoints! They will do half sizes on cold sandwiches which helps if you also want a side. I have eaten here quite a few...times and they have never been off. Consistant, solid food. A must stop in Central Kentucky!More
