For my first visit to Kentucky I was looking forward to having good Barbecue. Unfortunately I found both the brisket and ribs to be dry and the sauces unremarkable

First time eating here. Service was friendly and fast. We ordered the sample platter consisting of two slices of smoked turkey, one very spicy sausage, a little shredded, dried out pork, some dried out, crumbly brisket and two sides (collard greens and baked beans) and a piece of cornbread. The shredded pork was the biggest disappointment. It was long and... More

Delicious, moist, beautiful smoke ring, above average sauces, and decent service. Their brisket and pork was moist and delicious. This place is a sample of how good Kentucky BBQ can taste. Go for a sample of many meats, because they have everything under the sun. Clean restaurant to boot. I tasted the pulled pork and brisket and it did not... More

Stopped at this City Barbeque location while travelling between Florida and Cincinnati. There turned out to be a "Fat Tuesday" special - ribs for $1 each. That and the Pick 3 sides made a good meal for the two of us to split at a very low cost. The corn pudding was very good. The salad was okay. The fries... More

I ordered the Beef Brisket lite lunch with 2 sides. I also sampled the Pulled Pork. The brisket had nice flavor but the pork had absolutely no flavor. I couldn't taste the smoke either. My 2 sides were baked beans and Mac and Cheese. The baked beans were super sweet and the Mac and cheese was very mediocre.

Very expensive, $22.99 for a slab of ribs then you pay extra for sides. Wanna beer, by the bottle therefore for 2 12 ounce you'd pay more than you would a six pack. Not recommended unless your rich. (Bryan)

We went here on the way to Florida and it was so good we decided to stop again on our way back home. The first time the brisket was so tender and juicy, the hush puppies were hot and tasty and the coleslaw was great. My husband also had the chicken and said it was juicy and tasty. Then we... More

Oh no! Thanks for the great review but we are so sorry to hear that the brisket wasn't up to par the second time around. Would you mind emailing me at jordan@citybbq.com? I'd love to make it up to you! More

Never have had a bad visit yet! This time I am afraid I had too much to eat! Brisket on Texas Toast, fries, macaroni and cheese, and triple chocolate cake! You can never go wrong here my friends!

Located close to several medical facilities. I think I've found a new go-to restaurant for when I have a local appointment. It was fate. I love Mark's Feed Store, but the one I remembered had closed. When I asked about it, someone commented that City BBQ was "just across the street." We had purchased some City BBQ gift cards for... More
