If I travel within forty miles of this restaurant, I have to stop! I plan the timing of my business triips to Kentucky so I can be at the Bread of Life Cafe' at lunch time. It doesnt' matter which day you go, the homecooked meat and vegetables, and coblers are incredible. The staff is phenonemal, the food excellent and... More

For a good meal and a good cause, Bread of Life never disappoints. Whether you try the abundant buffet, the fresh salad bar, or an item cooked to order off the menu, you will be pleased. The wait staff is friendly, seems to know all the locals, greets everyone warmly, and performs their jobs masterfully. The kitchen staff keep the... More

We are locals. This is our go to place when we need comfort food, need a good place to meet with family, friends or business folk, or just want a good glass of sweet tea with lemon. Proceeds support Galilean Ministry. Staff is like family. A must stop if you are passing through Liberty, KY on US HWY 127.

I went to this place as I was driving from Lexington to Jamestown. I looked around for a bit, found a couple items I wanted to purchase. I took them to the front counter where there was no one at the register, I waited.....I looked at the people standing at the booth waiting for people to enter the restaurant, and... More

OMG, if you drive past this restaurant and don't stop, then you're missing some of the best meals ever! For $9.99, you get the best Amish prepared meals anywhere. Their buffet offers roast beef, roast pork, fried chicken, mashed potatoes, lima beans, green beans, cabbage casserole (outstanding), sautéed mushrooms, chicken and dumplings (fantastic), cornbread, fresh corn, salad bar, and much,... Stopped here for breakfast on a cross-country trip. It was a buffet with various items, but we tried only the biscuits and sausage gravy, which was delicious. Very simple restaurant in a small farming community. Definitely worth a stop.

Anytime our family has been here the food has always been very good. My favorite time to come is Friday evening when Jerome comes to play music. It's like an old fashion restaurant with live entertainment.

The buffet is wonderful and very tasty, so is the salad and dessert bar. Always packed and worth the wait. You can order but I recommend the buffet. Always try to stop when in Liberty, Kentucky. Nice break from traveling and great food to boot!

Stopped by here while on vacation. Ordered a mushroom bacon burger and a ribeye sandwich (both with fries). Burger was very good. The ribeye was sliced very thin and a bit tough. Overall a nice country style restaurant and very inexpensive.
