There is always a great variety of sweets to choose from. I suggest frequent visits. They also serve savory items, such as healthy sandwiches, if you're worried about feeling guilty for indulging.

When visiting Louisville and you have a hankering for something sweet. There is only one place you need to go to. Sweet Surrender on Frankfort Avenue. It offers great variety of cakes and pies. I recently tried their snicker trifle. Wow! The rich flavor of chocolate and caramel was amazing. I will be back again soon!

We went for dessert during our weekend trip to Louisville. The choices of cake are really nice. We all had a hard time choosing. I had the Carmel cake with pound cake and buttercream icing. It was fantastic.

My husband and I went there last night for dessert on our date night. We go there a couple times a year on our date nights. I tried the buckeye torte and it was so good! The filling in part of it tastes just like the center of a buckeye. It was very rich so I recommend a glass of... More

wow. wow. wow! If you've got a sweet tooth THIS is the place for you! Yea, yea, $5 for a slice of cake or $2.50 for a single cookie MAY seem pricey but...uhm, it's NOT. Your cake MAY serve two people or one person twice (unless you're an over achiever like me) and the cookies can easily be split as... More

This shop offers various specialty cakes, cookies and cup cakes. Sweet aromas greeted us when we opened the door. Once we told the lady behind the counter (who happened to be the owner) that this was our first time here, she thanked us for coming and proceeded to give us the royal tour and treatment. The royal tour consisted of... More

Our group ended up with about 5 different cakes and everyone loved their choices. I don't think you could go wrong with any choice you would make. My husband also go some cookies to go.... More

My family was looking for a place to get some desert after dinner. We saw Sweet Surrender on Trip Advisor and gave it a shot. All four of us had cake and we were very happy. The weather was nice enough to sit outside. This is an enjoyable place to eat and we would visit again when in Louisville.
